Solid subs

The R2-DB8V-TRK features two Alpine R2-Series subwoofers with Kevlar-reinforced pulp cones and rubber High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surrounds for dependable performance at high volume levels. The enclosure handles up to 750 watts RMS so you’ll get the solid bass you’re looking for and is wired for a 2-ohm load, making amplifier selection simple. The enclosure’s side-firing ports use your truck’s interior to boost the lows, giving you deeper bass at higher volume levels.

Easy to fit

The rugged 5/8″ MDF enclosure is clothed in black carpet covering that combines toughness and good looks, with a central metal Pro-Link™ bracket that lets you adjust the enclosure’s total width from 40″ to 51″ to fit most full-sized trucks, plus Jeep Gladiators and 4-door Wranglers. An integrated amplifier mounting tray optimized for Alpine’s mono sub amps gives you a package designed to fit under the rear seat of your truck, and its EZ Change twist-lock grille system gives you speaker protection options to coordinate with your truck’s interior. Adjustable mounting feet ensure a secure fit.

Alpine S-A60M Class-D S-Series Mono Power Car Amplifier

Alpine S-A60M is a new S-Series amplifier, known for reliable performance and value-oriented products. The amp contains technology currently implemented in R and X-Series models. It boasts a small footprint of only 8” W x 8” H x 2.25” D. Along with Alpine’s new intelligent amplifier platform, it features an improved heat sink and protection circuit design that eliminates thermal shut-down, for dependable music playback.

Alpine makes it a little easier to get great bass in your vehicle, especially if you drive a compact car. Their S-Series S-A60M mono subwoofer amplifier can deliver up to 600 watts RMS to your sub, guaranteeing some powerful bass on your drive. And Alpine made this amp so small — it’s got less than an 8″ by 8″ footprint and it’s just over 2″ tall — it can fit almost anywhere. The S-Series amplifiers are designed to fit anywhere.  Measuring at 8”, these amplifiers can be mounted under seats or behind panels.  Though they sport a compact footprint on the outside, they produce impressive power on the inside. At 600 watts RMS, the S-A60M is a powerful partner to drive the versatile S-Series subwoofers.

Enhanced Shutdown Performance technology rolls back the output a bit when the amp threatens to overheat from playing at its limits too long. Instead of shutting down completely, it continues playing your music, until it cools enough to return to full power.

Convenient features

A low-pass filter and adjustable bass boost put you in command of the frequencies that reach your subs. The amp includes preamp- and speaker-level inputs, so you can install it in almost any vehicle, even one with a factory radio. If you’re using the speaker-level inputs, the amp senses an incoming signal and turns itself on, eliminating the need to run a turn-on wire back to your vehicle’s receiver or fuse box. An optional wired remote lets you control bass level from the driver’s seat.

Control Your Subwoofer

You can connect the RUX-KNOB2 remote bass knob (optional available) to the S-A60M to control the subwoofer level straight from your dash (applicable for channel 3+4 in bridged mode for subwoofer usage).
