Whether you have music on your iPhone locally, on iTunes Match, or select third-party audio apps, the UTE-73BT can stream your tunes. If you have an Android smartphone, the UTE-73BT is compatible with Android AOA (Android Open Accessory) 2.0. Use the USB connection to access AOA for better sound and control over basic Bluetooth® audio streaming. These functions are delivered through the faceplate keys.

Steering Wheel Control

If your car has factory Bluetooth steering wheel controls, then it will also control your UTE-73BT’s built-in Bluetooth functions. Or, control the UTE-73BT from your factory-installed steering wheel controls by adding a third-party adapter. Use an adapter from popular brand names such as Axxess or PAC to add this feature. The UTE-73BT is also compatible with the RUE-4202 Wireless Remote Control (sold separately).

The KTP-445 amplifies the head unit power output, resulting in a 150 percent power increase over the original power from the head units built-in amplifier. The KTP-445 fits behind the head unit in the dash of most vehicles. It’s small and compact at only 6″ x 2″ x 1-1/8″. Its plug-and-play installation keeps it simple, without requiring additional wiring or special tuning. A high/low gain switch allows for proper gain settings, whether or not a subwoofer is part of the system.
