Polk Audio TSi400 Floor-Standing Speakers – Pair – Black

The Polk Audio TSi400 will deliver clear, interesting sound whether you’re looking for speakers for your stereo music system or new front speakers for your home theatre. Three polycarbonate woofers produce precise mids and lows, while its silk tweeter produces scintillating highs. The sturdy cabinet combats resonance, allowing the finer nuances of your music and movies to stand out. A unique feature for a speaker in this price range, dual five-way binding posts allow you to bi-amp or bi-wire the TSi400 for even better performance.

The Polk Audio TSi400 has a chic appearance thanks to its woodgrain vinyl surface, which is topped by a classy piano black top plate. Whether your floor is carpeted or not, the speaker is attached to it with the help of strong stabilizer feet at the base. Additionally, you may enjoy high-impact tower speaker sound without giving up much space because the speaker’s footprint is less than one square foot.

Driver Technology

Dynamic Balance: Dynamic Balance, a system exclusive to Polk Audio, uses laser imaging to ascertain which combination of speaker materials produces the least resonance. Low distortion and a wide, smooth response are the results of eliminating resonance in speakers.

Klippel Optimized: Polk experts were able to adjust the speaker construction and cabinet design for the greatest performance, even at high listening levels, using a cutting-edge Klippel Distortion Analyzer.

High Efficiency Design: Even when driven by modestly-powered amplifiers and receivers, these speakers deliver music that is open, airy, and clear. They are compatible with nearly any AV receiver.

Bi-Laminate Composite Woofers: Three 5.25″ bi-laminate composite dynamic balance drivers with minimal distortion and light weight are used in the speaker. Better detail can be achieved with numerous smaller drivers than with a single huge woofer. There is a larger sweet spot thanks to its design, which also projects music across a larger region. Each woofer uses a butyl rubber casing for optimum performance longevity.

Silk dome Tweeters: A 1.0″ silk dome dynamic balance tweeter for precise highs is included in the speaker. To increase detail and transparency and to lengthen the high frequency response, the tweeter has mylar bypass capacitors in the crossovers.

Frequency Response: The frequency response ranges from 34Hz to 25kHz overall, and from 44Hz to 24kHz at -3dB.

Enclosure Design

Quality Built Cabinets: The Polk Audio TSi400 speaker cabinets are made of heavily reinforced MDF and have baffles that are 34″ thick. TSi speakers look fantastic and are less than one square foot in size. They have pewter accents, a piano black top plate, and a detachable black grille. All versions come with a choice of vinyl finishes: cherry wood-grain or black.

Narrow Baffle Geometry: Using narrow baffle geometry, a speaker with excellent sound and a sleek appearance can be produced. The premium cabinet is slim and fits neatly in your space. The speaker parts with lower diameters have less mass, which results in crisper sound.

Polk Audio CSR Centre Channel Speaker

Polk Audio CSR centre channel speaker was created to deliver excellent sound at an affordable cost. With driver innovations from Polk’s higher-end speaker lines, the CSR reproduces fine dialogue and sound effects from motion pictures. Dynamic Balance: Dynamic Balance is a proprietary Polk Audio technology using laser imaging to determine what combination of speaker materials create the least amount of resonance. Eliminating resonance in speakers results in a wide, smooth response and low distortion.

Polymer Composite Woofers: The speaker features two lightweight, yet stiff mineral-filled polymer composite woofers with good damping, giving you high efficiency, excellent bass, and low distortion. Silk/Polymer Tweeter: The speaker has a 0.75″ fabric/polymer dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet that provides clear, detailed highs.

Mylar Capacitors: The speaker utilizes Mylar bypass capacitors to extend its high frequency response and improve detail and transparency.

Acoustically Inert Cabinet: The speaker cabinet features all-MDF construction with internal bracings that virtually eliminate sound-muddying resonance.

Port: There is a single critically-tuned port opening on the rear of the speaker that has low port noise for increased and extended bass response.

Grille: The speaker features a removable anti-diffraction cloth grille that minimizes grille diffraction for spacious, three-dimensional imaging.

5-Way Binding Posts: The 5-way binding posts will accept bare wire, pin connectors, spade connectors, banana plugs, and dual banana plugs.
