The included AVR-X1700H Quick Start Guide provides simple, clear instructions for how to get started. Once you connect your TV to the AVR-X1700H via HDMI, the exclusive Denon Setup Assistant appears on your TV screen to walk you through setup, step by step. On the back of the AV receiver, a row of color-coded speaker connections is laid out horizontally, making organizing and connecting speaker wires simple. The AVR-X1700H renames HDMI inputs automatically when connected or you can rename manually for your convenience.

Audyssey room correction

Using the featured Audyssey MultEQ XT room acoustic measurement system and supplied microphone, the AVR-X1700H it precisely analyzes the output of each speaker to optimize every channel. Plus, the additional Audyssey MultEQ Editor app (available for purchase) allows advanced users to go “under the hood” for further adjustment and customization of your audio environment. The Klipsch RP-5000FBII Floor Standing Speaker, horn loading maximizes efficiently and increases detail while focusing high frequencies towards the listening area. Proprietary Tractrix® geometry provides the most efficient transfer of high frequency waves into the listening area. The phase plug and compressed molded silicon face ensure smooth frequency response. When combined, the cleanest, most natural sound possible is created. Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Klipsch RP-5000FBII ports allow for the most efficient, fastest air transfer from the cabinet, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies. Klipsch Tractrix ports have custom designed inner flares that help reduce air turbulence entering the port. Less turbulent air helps reduce port noise for cleaner, more powerful bass.

Bi-Wiring / Bi-Amping Capability

Dual input terminals for bi-wiring / bi-amping capabilities with the Klipsch RP5000FBII speaker. Bi-wiring separates high and low frequency current into separate speaker cables, reducing intermodulation distortion, for clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for customization using outboard crossovers when using separate amplifiers.
