iDatalink Maestro HRN-HRR-CH1 Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep Plug & Play T-Harness

HRN-HRR-CH1 Features:

  • enables the replacement of the receiver in some Chrysler vehicles (also requires the Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module).
  • preserves the factory amp and steering wheel audio controls in some models.
  • Includes factory satellite radio and Uconnect with voice commands with a few Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, and Pioneer receivers.
  • use the Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) monitor when using the iDatalink ADS-HRN(AV)-CHR01 adapter.
  • select Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, and Pioneer radios show engine performance statistics on touchscreens.

Chrysler and iDatalink

Combining the Maestro HRN-HRR-CH1 wiring adaptor with the ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module from iDatalink enables the installation of a new car stereo in certain Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Mazda, Mitsubishi, and Volkswagen models manufactured from 2007 onward. In these vehicles, once connected, you can continue to use the factory amp and the audio controls on the steering wheel. The connectors in the box connect your new car stereo's serial port, the wiring plugs on your factory radio, and the Maestro module. A head-unit connector harness with an in-line design is part of iDatalink's new HRN-HRR-CH1 harness, which can be plugged into certain radio companies' new "Head-unit direct" harnesses (coming soon). If you're installing a radio that doesn't work with a "Head-unit direct" harness, you simply cut off the plug and connect the wires to the harness included with your new radio.

An iDatalink-ready car stereo adds additional capabilities.

You'll also be able to continue using your Uconnect system, including voice command, with some iDatalink-compatible radios from Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, and Pioneer (see the ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module for specific models).

Do you have a back-seat entertainment system?

To send audio and video from your new touchscreen receiver to the factory monitor if you wish to keep the factory Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) system, add iDatalink's ADS-HRN(AV)-CHR01 adapter (available separately).

iDatalink-ready car stereos allow you to keep your factory features.

If you purchase an iDatalink-capable car stereo, you will benefit from the great performance of your receiver as well as smooth touchscreen control over the majority of the factory features in some Chrysler-built automobiles.
