iDatalink Maestro KIT-DUR1 Factory System Adaptor Dash Kit for Dodge Durango (2014 and up)

You’ll quickly learn that the Durango’s dash design and secondary display screen make it challenging to improve the radio. iDatalink is here to help; their KIT-DUR1 package includes the dash kit, wiring harnesses, and adapter modules necessary to install an iDatalink-ready double-DIN (4″ tall) stereo together with the Maestro ADS-MRR module (available separately). Additionally, you will be able to keep your vehicle’s regular amenities, such as:

• Audio controls on the steering wheel
• Fader and speed-compensated volume are included in the factory amplifier, if one is present.
• Cameras for the rearview and front (requires composite video inputs on the new receiver)
• Entertainment system for the backseat

You can keep your secondary vehicle display which shows audio, hands-free, and navigation information by using the kit and ADS-MRR module. Additionally, iDatalink comes with a media module that can be mounted on your dash and has two USB Type-A connections, a 3.5mm aux input, and one USB port that can be converted to HDMI. On the screen of the new radio, you can also check performance gauges, see more performance data, and read and reset engine codes. The connections required to install a navigation-ready receiver are provided by the wire harness (parking and foot brake, reverse gear, and speed sense).

The colour and shape of the dash kit are created to match your factory dash. Two climate control trim panels are included and fit your particular Durango.

Dash Kit And Vehicle Harness For The Dodge Durango

For certain 2014–2020 Dodge Durangos, the iDatalink Maestro KIT-DUR1 consists of an integration dash kit and vehicle harness (all factory radio trims). The KIT-DUR1 enables you to swap out the factory radio of your 2014–2020 Dodge Durango with a compatible Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, or Pioneer aftermarket head unit equipped with an iDatalink Serial Port when used in conjunction with the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module (sold separately).

Note: Purchase of the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 (available separately) and download of a vehicle-specific firmware from iDatalink’s Weblink Desktop are prerequisites for the iDatalink Maestro KIT-DUR1 (for Windows and Mac).

Factory Fit & Finish Dash Kit

The KIT-DUR1 dash kit has a factory-grade fit and finish to match the shape and colour of the dash on your Dodge Durango. Select Double-DIN aftermarket radios from Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, and Pioneer with an iDatalink Serial Port will suit the dash kit.

Features That Have Been Retained

Factory Amplifier: If your car has a factory amplifier, the iDatalink Maestro KIT-DUR1 can keep it and add speed-compensated volume, a digital fader and balance, as well as DSP and gain adjustment.

Secondary Vehicle Display & Climate Control: The KIT-DUR1 will keep the climate controls and secondary vehicle display (if equipped). The information about audio, hands-free, and navigation will still be displayed on the secondary display. Your new aftermarket receiver’s touchscreen will provide access to climate control and display.

USB/HDMI/Aux Ports: A media module for the KIT-DUR1 is included, and it has two USB Type-A ports and one 3.5mm Aux input (one of the USB ports can be swapped out for a HDMI adapter port). The USB/HDMI/Aux module mounts in the dash to allow simple access to your compatible iDatalink receiver’s rear-panel USB, Aux, and HDMI inputs. It replaces the factory media module (all input types are not applicable to all compatible iDatalink receivers). To connect the media module to the rear-panel USB and Aux inputs of your aftermarket receiver, you will need one or two USB extension cables, one HDMI cable, and one stereo minijack cable or stereo minijack-to-RCA cable (no cables are included with the KIT-DUR1).

RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment): If your iDatalink compatible Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, or Pioneer receiver has an AV output, the KIT-DUR1 can preserve your car’s factory RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment). In the harness of the KIT-DUR1, there is a male 3.5mm AV connector. An AV minijack-to-RCA adapter is required if your iDatalink receiver has both a stereo RCA audio/video output and a composite video output (sold separately).

Backup And Front Cameras: If your iDatalink compatible Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, or Pioneer receiver has a composite video camera input, the iDatalink Maestro KIT-DUR1 will keep the factory backup camera from your car. The vehicle also has parking instructions and park assist chimes. If your compatible receiver has two camera inputs, the KIT-DUR1 can also keep your car’s front camera.

Steering Wheel Controls: The steering wheel controls for your car will remain with two programmable functions for standard and expanded aftermarket radio functionality on each button.

Navigation Outputs

The KIT-DUR1 includes output wires for Parking Brake, Foot Brake, Reverse Gear, and VSS (Vehicle Speed Sense) to enable installing an aftermarket GPS receiver simpler.
