iDatalink Maestro KIT-FOR1 Dash Kit for Ford Vehicles with Navigation (2008 – 2014)

You may install an aftermarket radio in a few 2008–2014 Ford vehicles with factory navigation by using this iDatalink KIT-FOR1 dash and wiring kit. The package keeps your Ford’s factory amp and subwoofer along with the steering wheel controls, aux input, USB port, and rear seat entertainment system. The kit comes with an antenna adapter and a T-harness to connect the new radio to your car’s system. Your OEM dash’s matte black finish matches that of the bezel. For this installation, you’ll also need iDatalink’s Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 (available separately).

Compatibility

The dash kit and vehicle harness that make up the iDatalink Maestro KIT-FOR1 are made especially for a few 2008–2014 Ford models that come equipped with factory navigation. Utilizing the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module, the KIT-FOR1 enables you to swap out the factory radio for a head unit compatible with the iDatalink Serial Port (sold separately).

Note: Purchase of the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 (available separately) and download of a vehicle-specific firmware from iDatalink’s Weblink Desktop are prerequisites for the iDatalink Maestro KIT-FOR1 (for Windows and Mac).

Features That Have Been Retained

When using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-FOR1 integration installation kit to swap out your aftermarket head unit with a suitable iDatalink Serial Port head unit from Kenwood, JVC, Alpine, or Pioneer, the following factory functions (if applicable) are kept.

• Factory Amplifier: Preserves the factory amplifier from Sony or THX, complete with the amplifier’s on/off switch, digital fader, DSP settings, gain adjustment, and speed-adjusted volume
• Steering Wheel Controls: Retains the original steering wheel controls with two functions on each button in addition to the regular or enhanced radio features
• Backup Camera & Chimes: Retains the factory-installed backup camera and park assist chimes
• Climate Control: The touchscreen monitor on the aftermarket radio can be used to display and control the climate

Additional Features

• Gauges: On the touchscreen monitor of the aftermarket radio, there are “Track Pack” gauges and selectable performance gauges available
• Vehicle Info: Select car information is displayed on the touchscreen of the aftermarket stereo, including tire pressure, battery voltage, the ability to read and reset engine codes, and door open status and warning
