The Klipsch KS-525-THX is packaged and sold as a pair. As part of the THX Ultra2 family, the Klipsch KS-525-THX surround loudspeaker with Klipsch Wide Dispersion Surround Technology (WDST) brings a new dimension of reality to home theater by using the same high-performance technology as the Klipsch professional cinema systems.

Advanced design for focused sound

The Klipsch KS-525-THX uses Klipsch Wide Dispersion Surround Technology featuring an angled baffle design that places each woofer/tweeter combination facing diagonally opposite to the other. This unique positioning minimizes interference between the drivers and gives them the ability to deliver a deep, enveloping soundfield while providing precise localization of special effects.

Each cabinet contains two 1″ titanium dome compression drivers paired with Klipsch’s Tractrix horns. These large, flared openings project high frequencies toward your listening area and prevent sound waves from simply spilling out in all directions. The horn design helps the speaker reproduce accurate detail with everything you listen to, while reducing reflections that can color the sound. The horns also improve dynamics and efficiency, for powerful, “front row” sound that remains crystal clear at all volume levels. Two 5-1/4″ Cerametallic™ anodized aluminum woofers pump out detailed, low-distortion mids and bass.

Each sealed enclosure features the same dado and rabbet locked-panel construction found in their professional speakers for maximum structural integrity and strength.
