Requirements:
- Compatible mobile device (see g.co/nest/needs for minimal OS requirements).
- For maximum functionality, Nest Cam requires a Wi-Fi network, a working broadband Internet connection with at least 2 Mbps upload speed per camera (DSL may not be sufficient), a compatible mobile device, the free Home app, and a Google Account.
- Features that work with Hey Google require additional hardware (sold separately), such as a Google Nest device.
- You may find the minimum needs at g.co/nest/requirements.
- For causes beyond Google’s control, such as intermittent Wi-Fi or service provider outages, video streaming, phone notifications, and history may be interrupted or fail.
- Nest Cam does not provide emergency notification or reaction that is monitored by a third party.
