Nuvo NV-GW100-NA Wireless Access Point
NuVo’s new wireless audio system makes multi-room, multi-zone audio distribution easy to install and a pleasure to use. The heart of the system is the GW100 Gateway, which connects to your home network through your router and establishes a music-only wi-fi network for the other NuVo Wireless devices. Then, add zone players for anywhere you need music.
Control is extremely user-friendly through apps for Apple and Android devices. You’ll have complete control over audio in every zone and access to all the music stored on your home network. In addition, you’ll be able to stream music from Pandora, Rhapsody, TuneIn, and SiriusXM (subscription fees may apply).
The GW100 Gateway allows your zone amplifiers to wirelessly communicate with each other and your home network using the modern 802.11n wi-fi protocol. The Gateway utilizes both 2.4 and 5.6 Ghz bands concurrently to eliminate interruptions to your music. In “Party Mode”, music is kept perfectly in sync, all over the house. Because it establishes a separate wireless network from your existing wi-fi, the GW100 won’t slow down your internet connection, either.
