Direct Digital Path

The signal route from the signal processing PC board to the digital outputs is shorter and cleaner than on comparable players. This direct signal channel routing prevents signal corruption due to noise from ICs and power supplies.

MP3 Playback

This Onkyo DX-C390 player can play MP3 files recorded on ISO 9660 level 1/level 2, Romeo, or Joliet CD-R and CD-RW discs. MP3 files with an 8-48 kHz sample rate and an 8-320 kbps bit rate are supported. Variable bit-rate MP3 files are supported, while fixed bit-rate MP3 files are encouraged. A maximum of 499 files and 99 folders can be stored on each CD.

Disc Exchange

You can swap up to five discs while listening to a sixth; once the drawer is open, you can swap out two CDs before using the Disc Skip button to remove the remaining three.

Next Selection

The Onkyo DX-C390 has a feature that allows you to choose the next track, folder, or disc to play without interrupting the current song.
