MP3 files can have sampling rates between 8 and 48 kHz and bit rates between 8 and 320 kbps. Although variable bit-rate MP3 files are supported, fixed-rate MP3 files are advised. A maximum of 499 files and 99 folders can be found on each CD.

Disc Exchange

While a sixth disc is playing, you can swap out up to five discs; however, once the drawer is open, only two discs can be swapped out; the other three must be removed using the Disc Skip button.

Next Selection

Without pausing the current music being played, this function enables you to select the following track, folder, or disc for playback.

Connections (RI)

You can send remote codes from an Onkyo device that is compatible with this device using the RI remote control input and output mini-jacks.
