The sound of the future

Unlock 8K/60p video passthrough with the Onkyo TX-NR5100 via HDMI® 2.1-specified HDMI terminals and enjoy HDR10+ or Dolby Vision HDR formats with eARC supporting amplification of encoded multichannel audio from your compatible TV’s video-streaming apps, tuner, or connected media players. Enhancements to HDMI eliminate latency for smooth, lag-free gameplay. With discrete high-thrust amps developing 165 W/Ch, Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X® soundtracks are played with thrilling dynamism while Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer and DTS Virtual:X can work 3D magic on almost any audio played through any speaker layout. SMART AV Receiver offers a wide selection of streaming services and forms the heart of your wireless multi-room audio ecosystem. The receiver also fits into an existing Sonos Home Sound System. Cue and control music around your home with voice assistants Hey Google or Alexa or hear what’s playing through the AVR on wireless headphones over bi-directional Bluetooth® wireless technology.

Welcome to the 8K Ultra HD experience

Onkyo TX-NR5100 features defined in HDMI® 2.1 specification enable 8K/60p video passthrough to your compatible display. As well as HDR10 and HLG, HDR10+ and Dolby VisionTM formats optimize brightness, contrast, and color scene-by-scene or frame-by-frame. All HDMI terminals support HDCP 2.3, while eARC on Main Out passes encoded multichannel audio (including Dolby Atmos® or DTS:X®) from your compatible TV’s tuner, video streaming apps, or connected media players to the AVR for amplification. QMS (Quick Media Switching) for movies and video eliminates the delay that can result in a blank screen before content is displayed.

New enhancements for gamers

Transform your playtime with 3D surround-sound and gain the winning edge with new gamer-friendly features defined in HDMI 2.1. VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) eliminates lag, stutter, and frame-tearing for fluid gameplay. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) optimizes latency from source to screen while QFT (Quick Frame Transport) limits lag for a smoother experience.

SMART AV Receiver multi-room audio streaming

Onkyo TX-NR5100 SMART AV Receiver shares audio around your home. It includes Amazon Music HD* , Pandora®, Spotify®, TIDAL, Deezer, and TuneIn, and works with Hey Google or Alexa. Share entertainment via Works with Sonos, AirPlay 2, DTS Play-Fi®, and Chromecast built-in. * Amazon Music HD is supported via DTS Play-Fi.

Works with Sonos

Expand your Sonos Home Sound System by pairing this AVR to a Sonos Connect or Port* . The receiver ties into the Sonos ecosystem, waking, changing inputs, and playing at the desired volume on command from the Sonos app* .* Sonos Connect and Port sold separately. The Sonos app is available free for iPhone and iPad from the App Store, and for Android phones and tablets on Google Play Store.

Chromecast built-in works with Hey Google

Stream music from your smartphone, laptop, or PC to the receiver via Chromecast built-in and control playback from Chromecast-enabled apps you know and love from your iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet, Mac or Windows® PC, or Chromebook. Cue, play, and control audio just by using your voice.

Works with Alexa

Alexa lets you use your voice to control the Onkyo TX-NR5100 A/V receiver by speaking commands through an Alexa built-in device. Whether you want to listen to music, radio stations, or podcasts, all you have to do is ask. It also supports multi-room music* played on multiple devices. * Multi-room music may require a firmware update.

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X – celebrate a new world of sound

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X translate 3D soundtracks from the studio mixing desk to your living room. Sounds are no longer tied to specific channels, and are free to move around and above your audience, placing them at the heart of the action.

Enjoy legacy formats with 3D sound

Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer and DTS Virtual:X are sound virtualization solutions that deliver 3D sound through any listener-level speaker layout. The technologies can work independently or in conjunction with Dolby Surround® or DTS® Neural:X up mixers to create an immersive 3D sound-field with any audio signal (excluding Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and DTS® Express).

5 GHz/2.4 GHz dual-band Wi-Fi® supports the 802.11ac standard*

A powerful quad-core SoC (System on a Chip) performs multiple processing tasks at once. It evolves network functions and supports the 802.11ac (2×2 MIMO) standard for stable multi-room audio streaming. * Note: some countries or regions have regulations that affect wireless signal strength and the use of Wi-Fi channels.

Clearer dialog at the touch of a button

Vocal Enhancer solves the problem of inaudible dialog in movies and TV programs by using DSP algorithms to elevate vocal frequencies in the soundtrack. The effect level can be raised or lowered using keys on the remote control.

AccuEQ with AccuReflex

AccuEQ detects speaker size, crossover frequency, and distance from the listening position and sets sound-pressure levels appropriate to their location. It selects the ideal crossover for the subwoofers and applies EQ to all speakers including the subs. AccuReflex optimizes 3D sound through Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers by resolving phase-shift arising from differences in directional and non-directional sound-paths. The result is a clear and cohesive sound-field.

Bi-directional Bluetooth® wireless technology

This Onkyo TX-NR5100 AVR can send and receive audio via Bluetooth wireless technology. Stream from your device to the receiver using SBC or AAC codecs, or transmit audio playing through the AVR to compatible wireless headphones using SBC, aptX, or aptX HD codecs including 24-bit audio over aptX HD. Note: supports MAIN Zone source transmission (excludes Chromecast built-in and Works with Alexa). Lossless 24-bit audio requires headphones supporting aptX HD.

Share music or listen privately

Zone B pre-/line-out shares MAIN Zone audio to an audio system with an RCA line input. Enjoy what’s playing in the MAIN Zone on a hi-fi (or active speaker) system in a nearby space, or connect a compatible wireless headphone dock to enjoy entertainment at any time of day in privacy.

Powered Zone B or Front L/R bi-amping

Multi-function speaker terminals can play any amplified audio in MAIN and Zone B at the same time. Alternatively, assign them to bi-amp compatible front speakers or expand a 5.2-ch layout with Surround Back speakers (7.2-ch) or Height speakers (5.2.2-ch).

Klipsch RF-82 II 8″ Floor Standing Speakers – Black – Pair

A Legend In Sound

The Klipsch RF-82 is complete with our proprietary Tractrix® Horn technology which produces a unique combination of precision, clarity and effortless power. Finished in a beautiful black woodgrain vinyl veneer, the RF-82 II is guaranteed to complement any décor.

New And Improved

Now in its fifth generation, Reference II speakers boast enhanced features, including re-engineered drivers and a new crossover system, to capture your attention and excite your emotions. In addition to the improved sound quality, the look of “big sound” has been redefined throughout the line with sophisticated cabinetry, refreshed logos and rounded feet.

Four Laws Of The Klipsch Universe

Beginning in 1946, company founder, Paul W. Klipsch believed four principles to be the foundation for great sound. Together, these four design principles—high efficiency with low distortion, controlled directivity, flat frequency response, and wide dynamic range—have and always will be the foundation for our stunningly powerful and precise sound.

High-tech driver design

The Klipsch RF-82 uses newly machined, light-yet-rigid Cerametallic woofers with a folded edge to produce smoother mids and tighter bass. The Klipsch RF-82 specially treated aluminum in the cones helps to dampen unwanted vibrations and reduce distortion, while integrated dustcaps add stability. The RF-82 II also has dual five-way binding posts, giving you the option to bi-amp or bi-wire this speaker for even better performance. And the rigid, braced cabinet comes in a handsome woodgrain vinyl finish.

Horn technology for “front row” sound

Klipsch RF-82 speakers feature a redesigned version of Klipsch’s famous horn-loaded tweeter. Because high-frequency sounds are more directional than bass frequencies, it’s especially important to target them right toward your ears. Klipsch places their titanium tweeter inside a flared opening, known as a “horn,” which disperses the highs evenly across your listening area in a 90°-wide, 60°-high pattern. With their Series II speakers, Klipsch has redesigned the shape and slope of their famous horn enclosure, so your movie soundtracks and music will sound more “open,” with improved dynamics and efficiency. All in all, you can count on powerful, “front row” sound that’s crystal-clear at all volume levels.

Stand-out audio performance from a solid floor-standing speaker

Looking for speakers that will take your movies and music to the next level? The Klipsch RF-82 offers up sparkling highs, rich, dynamic mids, and full-bodied bass for larger home entertainment spaces. Building on Klipsch’s previous Reference speaker line, the Klipsch RF-82 models have updated drivers and a new crossover system for even more spacious sound. Grab a pair of these well-made towers for your main left and right home theater speakers, or use them on their own for a rockin’ stereo music setup.

Klipsch RB-61 II Bookshelf Speakers – Black – Pair

Klipsch® designed their impressive Klipsch RB-61 to deliver the same kind of thrills and intensity as their larger tower speakers — you’ll be amazed at the kind of sound these put out. Building on Klipsch’s previous Reference speaker line, the Series II models have updated drivers and a new crossover system for even more spacious sound. These bookshelf speakers work equally well as a stereo pair for music listening or as the front left and right speakers in your home theater system.
