Onkyo TX-RZ840 9.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver

Onkyo TX-RZ840 9.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver. It produces up to 120W of power per channel at 8 Ohms for room-filling sound. AccuEQ Advance sound calibration allows you to tailor the sound to your room’s specific acoustics.

Built-in Bluetooth connectivity lets you listen to music wirelessly from your favorite Bluetooth-capable devices, while built-in Wi-Fi connectivity provides access to your Spotify, TIDAL, and other online services. You can control the receiver with just your voice via the Google Assistant built into your compatible device thanks to Chromecast built-in, or via Siri with your HomePod. The Onkyo TX-RZ840 is equipped with seven HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs. One of the HDMI outputs supports eARC for the reproduction of TV-based audio, such as your TV’s built-in apps.

IMAX Enhanced, Available via a Future Firmware Update

IMAX Enhanced receivers feature DTS:X audio decoding designed to reproduce the full dynamic range of IMAX sound mixes available in digitally remastered IMAX Enhanced content. IMAX Mode reproduces IMAX Enhanced content at high levels, as the filmmakers intended. IMAX Enhanced versions of films are scheduled for 4K HDR streaming and UHD Blu-ray release.

THX Certified Select Theater-Reference Audio

THX Certified Select virtually guarantees theater-reference sound in your home. To gain certification, amplifiers must pass bench tests covering every aspect of performance. THX Certified Select components are designed to suit rooms where the screen-to-seat distance is roughly 10 to 12′.

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X Upmixing Technologies

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats are designed to map sounds in 3D space, causing them to seem to move around the room for a more immersive movie experience. With Onkyo TX-RZ840 11.2-channel pre-outs and 11-channel processing, you can enjoy 3D sound through your 5.2.4- or 7.2.2-channel speaker layout without additional amps, or up to 7.2.4-channel with an additional amplifier. Dolby Surround and DTS Neural:X both find cues in legacy soundtracks and upmixes them for spatial playback.

Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer, Available via a Future Firmware Update

When playing any Dolby format, engaging the Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer helps provide a more immersive listening experience, creating virtual surround sound and height effects from more traditional speaker layouts.

Dynamic Audio Amplification (DAA)

Dynamic Audio Amplification helps stabilize power delivery for accurate control and enhanced dynamics. The High-Current Low-Noise Onkyo TX-RZ840 Power Transformer and 15,000 F high-current capacitors are designed to provide instant power while non-phase-shift amps capture a 5 Hz to 100 kHz frequency response. To keep them cool, an extruded aluminum heat sink controls resonance frequencies while cutting thermal distortion.

SMART AV Receiver Technology

SMART AV Receiver technology provides access to streaming content from Amazon Music, Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, and TuneIn and allows you to share Onkyo TX-RZ840 as part of a multi-room system via Works with Sonos, Chromecast built-in, AirPlay 2, DTS Play-Fi, and FlareConnect.

Works with Sonos

The Onkyo TX-RZ840 can integrate into your existing Sonos ecosystem by pairing it with an optional Sonos Connect, allowing it to wake up, change inputs, and play at the desired volume on command via the Sonos app.

Chromecast built-in with the Google Assistant

Stream music from your compatible smartphone, laptop, or computer to the receiver. Control playback with Chromecast-enabled apps from your iOS or Android phone or tablet, Mac or Windows computer, or Chromebook. If you have a device with the Google Assistant built-in, you can control music on the Onkyo TX-RZ840 by voice.

Whole-Home Audio

Orchestrate audio playback in up to three rooms at once with the Onkyo Controller app. The Onkyo TX-RZ840 has two extra DACs to distribute unique or synced audio sources via Zone 2 and Zone 3 speaker outputs, including HDMI, SPDIF, network, and Bluetooth sources. With nine discreet amplifiers, you can enjoy a 5.2.2-channel layout in your main room with powered Zone 3, or a 5.2-channel surround system in your main room with powered audio distribution to Zones 2 and 3.

Quad-Core SoC with Wi-Fi 5

The onboard SoC (system on a chip) is designed to process multiple tasks at once and supports dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac, 2×2 MIMO) with backward compatibility.

Vocal Enhancer

The Vocal Enhancer is designed to solve the issue with inaudible dialogue in TV shows and movies. Onkyo TX-RZ840 DSP technology identifies voice frequencies and lets you adjust them using the remote control or the front-panel controls.

Zone 2/Zone B Line-Out

Onkyo TX-RZ840 Connect your compatible hi-fi system via the analog RCA inputs to the receiver’s Zone 2/Zone B line out port. In Zone 2 mode, you can play the same or different audio source in either or both rooms at the same time. Zone B mode is more designed for use with a wireless transmitter, enabling you to listen to a source through your wireless headphones.

AccuEQ Advance Sound Calibration with AccuReflex

AccuEQ Advance uses nine-point mic measurement to calibrate and equalize the speakers and subwoofers and help remove standing waves that occur when sound from the speakers resonates with sound reflecting off the walls, compromising its proper expression. During the process, background noise is ignored to help ensure accurate equalization. Onkyo TX-RZ840 AccuReflex is designed to optimize 3D sound from your height speakers by resolving phase shift for a more cohesive sound field.

Custom Installation Connectivity

The Onkyo TX-RZ840 features a 12V trigger output for an external component and an IR input for remote control range extension. It also supports IP control, RS-232C, and an OSD output for custom installers. Additionally, an optional rackmount kit is available.

eARC Support

The HDMI Onkyo TX-RZ840 Main Out supports eARC transmission of HD audio from compatible displays. It works with 3D audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, as well as the Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio lossless codecs. High bitrate and object-based audio featured in videos streamed via your smart TV, smartphone app, or connected network media dongle can now be decoded and amplified by the receiver at their native quality.

Klipsch RF-82 II 8″ Floor Standing Speakers – Black – Pair

A Legend In Sound

The Klipsch RF-82 is complete with our proprietary Tractrix® Horn technology which produces a unique combination of precision, clarity and effortless power. Finished in a beautiful black woodgrain vinyl veneer, the RF-82 II is guaranteed to complement any décor.

New And Improved

Now in its fifth generation, Reference II speakers boast enhanced features, including re-engineered drivers and a new crossover system, to capture your attention and excite your emotions. In addition to the improved sound quality, the look of “big sound” has been redefined throughout the line with sophisticated cabinetry, refreshed logos and rounded feet.

Four Laws Of The Klipsch Universe

Beginning in 1946, company founder, Paul W. Klipsch believed four principles to be the foundation for great sound. Together, these four design principles—high efficiency with low distortion, controlled directivity, flat frequency response, and wide dynamic range—have and always will be the foundation for our stunningly powerful and precise sound.

High-tech driver design

The Klipsch RF-82 uses newly machined, light-yet-rigid Cerametallic woofers with a folded edge to produce smoother mids and tighter bass. The Klipsch RF-82 specially treated aluminum in the cones helps to dampen unwanted vibrations and reduce distortion, while integrated dustcaps add stability. The RF-82 II also has dual five-way binding posts, giving you the option to bi-amp or bi-wire this speaker for even better performance. And the rigid, braced cabinet comes in a handsome woodgrain vinyl finish.

Horn technology for “front row” sound

Klipsch RF-82 speakers feature a redesigned version of Klipsch’s famous horn-loaded tweeter. Because high-frequency sounds are more directional than bass frequencies, it’s especially important to target them right toward your ears. Klipsch places their titanium tweeter inside a flared opening, known as a “horn,” which disperses the highs evenly across your listening area in a 90°-wide, 60°-high pattern. With their Series II speakers, Klipsch has redesigned the shape and slope of their famous horn enclosure, so your movie soundtracks and music will sound more “open,” with improved dynamics and efficiency. All in all, you can count on powerful, “front row” sound that’s crystal-clear at all volume levels.

Stand-out audio performance from a solid floor-standing speaker

Looking for speakers that will take your movies and music to the next level? The Klipsch RF-82 offers up sparkling highs, rich, dynamic mids, and full-bodied bass for larger home entertainment spaces. Building on Klipsch’s previous Reference speaker line, the Klipsch RF-82 models have updated drivers and a new crossover system for even more spacious sound. Grab a pair of these well-made towers for your main left and right home theater speakers, or use them on their own for a rockin’ stereo music setup.

Klipsch RP-450CB Centre Channel Speaker – Ebony

90×90 Hybrid Tractrix Horn

Redesigned Tactrix Horn utilizes a circular horn throat paired to a square horn mouth to further improve high-frequency response and extension, while enhancing imaging and dynamics. The compressed molded rubber construction adds high frequency damping to reduce harshness and improve detail. The Klipsch RP-450C creates the cleanest, most natural sound possible.

Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) Titanium Tweeter

A Linear Travel Suspension minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performance. LTS Tweeters have been a hallmark of previous Reference lines, as well as our flagship Klipsch Palladium series, making it a core component of some of the best speakers in the world.

Spun Copper Cerametallic Woofers

Cerametallic woofers represent the pinnacle of Klipsch driver design, maintaining exceptional rigidity, and lightweight construction, for minimal cone breakup and distortion. When paired with the Tractrix Horn-loaded LTS tweeter the Klipsch RP-450C provides speaker efficiency highest in its class.

All New Tractrix Port

Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the all new Klipsch RP-450C Reference Premiere ports allows for the most efficient, fastest air transfer from the cabinet — for the cleanest, most powerful low frequency response on the market

MDF Cabinet With Brushed Polymer Veneer Baffle Finish

Contemporary aesthetic with absolute durability that Klipsch RP-450C results in a seamless integration into any décor.

Strong, Flexible, Removable Grille

Klipsch RP-450C grille attaches magnetically for an elegant transition from powerful show stopper to discreet performance piece.

High-tech woofer design

The Klipsch RP-450C Cerametallic™ woofers dish out smooth midrange and articulate, well-defined bass. Klipsch makes its cones out of specially treated aluminum that’s strong yet lightweight, to dampen and prevent distortion. With the Reference Premiere Series, Klipsch also gave these woofers newly developed titanium voice coil formers that allow more linear movement for enhanced efficiency, lower distortion, and extended low frequency response.

A horn that can enhance bass, too

Look around the back, and you’ll see that instead of the conventional round port tube found on many speakers, Klipsch uses a Tractrix horn-shaped opening for smoother, more efficient airflow in and out of the cabinet. The resulting decrease in air turbulence makes for cleaner, more powerful bass with reduced port noise and low-frequency distortion.
