Onkyo TX-SR393 5.2-Channel Audio And Video Receiver. It outputs up to 80W of power per channel at 8 Ohms for room-filling sound. AccuEQ sound calibration tailors the sound to your room’s specific acoustics. Built-in Bluetooth connectivity lets you listen to music wirelessly from your favorite Bluetooth-capable devices.

The Onkyo TX-SR393 is equipped with four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. The HDMI output supports ARC for the reproduction of display-based audio, such as your TV’s built-in streaming apps. Its rear-panel easy connection guide will help you connect your receiver quickly and easily.

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X Sound

These two sound technologies mix audio in 3D space using object-based encoding as opposed to channel-based to help create the effect of sound moving all around you. HDR & 4K Support via HDMI

AccuEQ Room Acoustic Calibration with AccuReflex

AccuEQ sets speaker parameters, such as size and distance, and sets their sound-pressure levels. It then selects the right subwoofer crossover setting and applies equalization to all your speakers. AccuReflex is designed to optimize object-based audio reproduction through Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers, resolving phase-shift caused by the path differences between directional and non-directional sounds. These features combine to help improve localization and provide a 3D soundstage with vertical movement and overhead dimensionality.

Advanced Music Optimizer

Lossy files, such as MP3s, are convenient, but data lost in the compression process results in comparatively low fidelity. Advanced Music Optimizer technology helps restore lost information for enhanced sound quality with these file types. This mode also optimizes Bluetooth streaming playback quality.

Virtual 3D Sound with DTS Virtual:X

DTS Virtual:X is designed to create an immersive 3D soundfield from any speaker layout, regardless of whether height, surround, or rear speakers are installed. It uses DSP-based algorithms to place you at the center of a multidimensional soundfield with height and surround effects, and works in large or small speakers. DTS Virtual:X works in the 3D domain with DTS:X soundtracks, other DTS formats, and non-encoded stereo.

Clear Dialogue with the Touch of a Button

The Onkyo TX-SR393 features DSP-controlled Vocal Enhancer that identifies vocal frequencies and allows you to raise or lower them to your taste using the keys on the remote or via the tone controls on the receiver’s front panel.

Zone B Line-Out

The Zone B line-out lets you connect a component with an analog RCA line input to audio sources connected to the Onkyo TX-SR393 receiver, including digital audio via HDMI, optical, or digital coaxial. Elaborate Chassis Technology

The heart of the fabulous high-frequency reproduction is our new hi-res module with two, yes two fmax tweeters. A 1.2” dome with a particularly wide bead allows it to operate with a low crossover frequency and therefore connect perfectly to the mid-range unit. The additional ¾” super dome tweeter on the ST505M is the basis for extended frequency response to beyond 50 kHz. It also displays excellent all-round dispersion characteristics. In this combination, the module is certified with the Hi-Res Seal by the Japan Audio Society.

The FE Dynamics woofers and subwoofers have specially coated diaphragms that are checked for interference resonance and optimized using laser technology, the so-called Klippel method. A ventilated voice coil unit, the speaker drive, guarantees optimum cooling and, therefore, maximum resilience – even when things really get going.

Exceptional Production Quality

The solid MDF housing on the ST505M is low resonance, providing the best sound conditions for the chassis. The baffle of the Signature 500 is coated with high-gloss black piano lacquer in the black ash models, with the mocha finish complemented by a silk-matt anthracite front panel. Sturdy decorative rings held by six screws not only perfect the look, but also the seating of the speakers. The removable fabric cover allows the choice between a very subtle look and one revealing the technology. The crossover, made of high-quality components, operates with 24 dB cut filters, is amplitude and phase-corrected and therefore enables precise control of the individual chassis. Amply dimensioned terminals not only allow use of the highest-quality cables, they also facilitate bi-wiring and bi-amping, i.e. the use of different cables or amplifiers for bass and treble ranges. How much attention to detail has been invested in the design of the Signature 500 is also demonstrated by the use of the Airflex port with a rounded reflex opening, which minimizes flow noise.

The ST505M Signature 500 is available in various versions. This means that fans of pure stereo playback can combine different setups, while home cinema enthusiasts can also choose the perfect combination. Elaborate Chassis Technology

Our new hi-res module with two, yes two, fmax tweeters is at the heart of the fantastic high-frequency reproduction. Because it has a 1.2″ dome with a very wide bead, it may work at a low crossover frequency and hence link flawlessly to the mid-range unit. The additional 34″ super dome tweeter provides a frequency response that extends beyond 50 kHz. On the SC53M, it has good all-around dispersion characteristics. Bi-wiring and bi-amping, i.e. using different cables or amplifiers for bass and treble frequencies, are made easier with generously dimensioned terminals. The adoption of an Airflex port with a rounded reflex opening, which reduces flow noise, demonstrates the Signature 500’s attention to detail.
