Onboard Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity give you the ability to stream music from Internet radio sources.

THX Certified Select

THX Certified Select helps ensure your home theater has the same high-volume sound experience as a commercial movie theater.

To gain certification, amplifiers must pass THX benchmark tests covering nearly every aspect of audio performance.

THX Certified Select components suit rooms where screen-to-seat viewing is roughly 10′ and room volume around 2000 cubic feet.

Supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X Playback

Object-based soundtracks allow independently mixed sound to play through any speaker in your system.

DTS Neural:X is designed to identify spatial effects in multichannel soundtracks and upmix them for 3D playback, while DTS:X offers independent dialogue volume control for movies. Dolby Surround is also included to upmix legacy multichannel formats for playback in a Dolby Atmos-enabled environment.

Chromecast built-in with the Google Assistant

Stream nearly any music from your compatible smartphone or computer to the receiver and control playback with Chromecast-enabled apps from your iOS or Android phone or tablet, Mac or Windows laptop, or Chromebook. If you have a smart device featuring the Google Assistant, you can cue and control music on the receiver with just your voice.

DTS Play-Fi Wireless Multi-Room Audio

DTS Play-Fi is a wireless protocol that is designed to work with any audio app on mobile devices and computers. Stream whatever’s playing to the receiver, even different sources to different components at the same time.

AccuEQ with AccuReflex

AccuEQ conducts two measurements to set the level, distance, and crossover for all speakers, including the subwoofer.

Choose to include or bypass EQ measurement for front left and right speakers, and choose to automatically or manually set the EQ.

Further, you can save your own manual EQ settings into three available presets. AccuReflex technology aligns the phase of up-firing “height” speakers with the sound coming directly from your other speakers.

Klipsch CDT-5800-C II Pivoting 8″ 2 way In-ceiling speakers

With integrated whole-house audio systems becoming more popular than ever, Klipsch designed the Klipsch CDT-5800-C II to meet the market’s demand for a high-performance in-ceiling loudspeaker that easily challenges the inherent limitations of fixed locations.

The Klipsch CDT-5800-C II installs in your ceiling, so it won’t take up any floor space.Treat yourself to top-notch sound with a speaker that blends seamlessly into your home’s décor. Its high-tech design and solid construction make it a great choice for movie and music lovers alike. You can use multiple CDT-5800-C IIs for surround sound in an all-Klipsch home theatre, or install them in pairs for stereo listening with your multi-room audio system. Either way, you’ll enjoy crisp, clear Klipsch sound without the clutter of conventional speakers.

Ready, aim, music!

Thanks to a new patent-pending gimbal mechanism, known as Controlled Dispersion Technology™ (CDT), both the high and low frequencies of the CDT-5800- C can be directed towards the listening area. Because the tweeter is independently adjustable from the woofer, this speaker offers even more precise localization.

Horn technology for room-filling sound

The CDT-5800-C features a 1-inch titanium tweeter mated to a swiveling 100-degree Tractrix® Horn. This swiveling horn design dramatically increases efficiency by enabling the speaker to produce more output using less energy. Additionally, a horn-loaded tweeter works well in instances where you want to point the sound to a specific location
because it has more controlled directivity than a conventional dome tweeter.

The speaker’s 8-inch Cerametallic woofer also has great positioning capabilities. It can rotate a full 360 degrees and then shift 15 degrees in any direction. This flexibility combined with the swiveling tweeter puts you in complete control of where the sound will go.  Other professional grade features, such as a premium network and treble and bass contour switches, help the CDT-5800- C   establish   a   new   benchmark   in architectural audio excellence.

The paintable CDT-5800-C can be paired with a Klipsch IK-800-C installation kit (sold separately). This revolutionary kit design incorporates a mud ring, breakaway wire tie and colour- coded brackets for easy speaker size identification. It also includes perforated metal wings that easily fasten to the studs via screws, staples or nails. Painted white for easy marking and placement, these metal wings can be folded around the edge of the studs if necessary.

Klipsch IK800CII 8″ In-Ceiling Speaker Installation Kit

The Klipsch IK800CII installation kit offers increased mounting flexibility for all of our residential in-ceiling speakers that employ an 8-inch woofer.

Mud Ring

This revolutionary kit design incorporates a mud ring breakaway wire tie and color-coded brackets for easy speaker size identification. A flat side with a raised wall allows it to be mounted directly to a joist making it much easier to align the speakers with other items in the ceiling.

Metal Wings

The kit also comes with perforated metal wings that easily fasten to the studs via screws staples or nails. Ribbed for increased rigidity these wings enable a kit to span up to 24 inches easily. Painted white for easy marking and placement these metal wings will fold around the edge of the studs if necessary.
