It offers 7.1-channel analogue and specialised HDMI audio outputs, as well as high-resolution audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio for a powerful surround sound experience. You may also use your voice to control the Blu-ray player if you have a compatible Alexa or Google smart speaker.

For natural textures and depth, 4K picture colour signals (4:2:0) are interpolated into 4K (4:4:4) using a multi-tap chroma technique.
