Pioneer TS-A2500LB 10″ Shallow-Mount Loaded Enclosure Car Subwoofer

The TS-A2500LB features a compact, space-saving enclosure designed for optimal use of space. The carpeted enclosure is shallow enough for mounting in a wide variety of vehicles including pickup trucks with standard or extended-cab models. The enclosure’s unique design allows it to be mounted upright or lying flat, facing upwards or configured in a down-fire position. The enclosure is fully carpeted with an embroidered Pioneer Logo, creating a non-slip and scratch resistant surface.

This Shallow-Mount Pre-Loaded Enclosure provides a maximum power of 1200 W with continuous 300 W RMS. The subwoofer features a glass fiber and a mica interlaced, injection molded polypropylene (IMPP™) cone with a 2 ohm single voice coil. The surround is rolled butyl rubber and is fully protected by a steel mesh grille. For installation flexibility, the feet & cushions are removable to enable different layout configurations, to suit your vehicle’s application.

Easily Upgrade to High Performance

Pioneer’s TS-A2500LB A-series shallow-mount subwoofers delivers big bass performance of a full-size subwoofer, but in a compact design. Designed to provide wider installation options for a broad range of vehicle, this A-Series subwoofer produces seamless and smooth sound characteristics with dynamic, high impact bass that lets you hear and feel the music.

Subwoofer Firing Options

This subwoofer features a full grille and down-firing structure for cone protection and can be installed inside your vehicle’s interior. This combines deep, powerful bass while seamlessly integrating physically, electrically, and more importantly improves the acoustics in the vehicle.

This subwoofer was designed with the flexibility to be installed in three different ways. The provided feet can be screwed onto the bottom or top using the pre-drilled holes. Cushions on the feet prevent sliding.

Down-fire –With the four feet installed to the bottom of the subwoofer to allow space between the cone and the floor, it will push the soundwaves towards the floor where they are reflected to deliver a richer sound for a stronger “rumble” effect.

Up-fire –This option allows you to place the subwoofer with the cone facing upward. It can use the provided feet to prevent sliding. Firing the sub upwards moves more cabin air to deliver a stronger, more crisp sounding bass.

Vertical-Facing – This option allows you to place the subwoofer with the cone facing on its side. It can use the provided feet to prevent sliding. This position will disperse sound like conventional loudspeakers producing fast and impactful bass, hitting the ear before being reflected off a surface which can lead to an especially precise and punchy sound.

Angled Subwoofer Terminals

Traditional subwoofer terminals are mounted horizontally or vertically. These mounts force wires to be bent to fit which can be difficult if low gauge high performance wires are used. The Pioneer shallow subwoofer’s angled binding-post terminals make it easy to connect speaker wires, saves space, and makes installation easier. Two metal angle-brackets and eight 1″ screws are provided for mounting the enclosure to a trunk or rear compartment floor in an upright fashion. Four screw-on feet also allow the enclosure to be mounted flat under a seat in a down-firing configuration.

Bass Driver

The TS-A2500LB features a single 10” driver made with a glass fiber and a mica interlaced, injection molded polypropylene (IMPP™) cone with butyl rubber surround, mounted in a matched sealed enclosure. The subwoofer’s voice coil suspension system is engineered to give balanced and linear motion of the cone, maintaining a high level of performance, response, and linearity, for superior sound.

Space-saving shallow enclosure

Need hard-hitting bass from a small enclosure? Pioneer TS-A2500LB enclosure fits in in a wide variety of car trunks and truck applications, and delivers powerful performance without taking up a lot of space. At only 5-7/8″ deep, it’ll work in most pickups.

Home for a 10″ sub

The enclosure houses a rugged Pioneer 10″ sub, which features an oversized, injected polypropylene cone with a rubber surround to punch out deep bass with less distortion. Its dual-spider design helps to stabilize the cone and support the linear movement needed to pump out big volume.

The rugged enclosure is built of 5/8″ MDF for strength, and is covered in black carpet with an embroidered Pioneer logo. A steel mesh grille protects the speaker against all the dangers of life behind a seat.
