Pioneer Elite SCLX502 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver
Pioneer Elite SCLX502 has Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay, and Chromecast built-in for wireless connection to your compatible smart devices. The receiver outputs up to 120W per channel at 8 Ohms and features MCACC sound optimization to tailor the sound to your environment. It supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X to create a more 3-dimensional sound space with compatible media.
In addition to the aforementioned wireless options, the Pioneer Elite SCLX502 has seven HDMI inputs and two outputs; the rear HDMI inputs support 4K and 3D, and the main output supports 4K, 3D, and ARC. It also has a USB port on the front for the playback of files stored on flash drives.
Class D³ (Direct Energy HD) Amplifier
Having the Direct Power FET directly connected to the printed circuit board without any wiring is designed to provide quick response and high efficiency, as well as energy savings. The bypass capacitors are engineered to further enhance the advantages of the Direct Energy HD amplifier for enhanced bass while also featuring gentle expressiveness.
MCACC Auto Room Tuning
Create the receiver’s output with Pioneer’s MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration System). With the included microphone, the system automatically compensates for differences in speaker size, level, and distance, and equalizes response.
Synchronized Sound with Phase Control
Designed to be a solution for the phase lag between the subwoofer and the main channel speakers caused by the bass management filter, Phase Control compensates the delayed bass to help enhance sound synchronization.
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats liberate sounds from specific speakers, allowing them to move from speaker to speaker, and even overhead. These audio codecs leverage object-based audio to enable an immersive and interactive audio performance.
With Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, high-directivity sound reflects off the ceiling, while low-directivity sound directly reaches the ears. This difference causes a phase shift, making the sound feel uncomfortable. The Reflex Optimizer is designed to solve this by optimizing the performance of your up-firing elevation speakers for your listening environment by aligning the phase of direct and indirect sound, matching the basic tone, and optimizing the upward-oriented frequencies.
HDR10-, Dolby Vision-, and HLG-Compatible
The SCLX502 supports pass-through for Dolby Vision, HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), and HDR10 signals. By connecting a compatible source device, you can enjoy these video standards on a compatible display. What’s more, all rear HDMI terminals support 4K (60p/4:4:4/24-bit), Wide Color Gamut (BT.2020), and HDCP 2.2, so you will have no handshake issues when upgrading to new devices, and can also enjoy 4K videos with digital copy protection.
The SCLX502 comes with Chromecast built-in, so you can use your mobile device to stream your favorite music, radio, or podcasts to your speakers. You can control the audio from anywhere in the house within Wi-Fi range using Chromecast-enabled apps running on your personal device – iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet, Mac or Windows laptop, or Chromebook.
FireConnect Multi-Room Audio
FireConnect mirrors network audio and external analog sources connected to the master component – from streaming services to vinyl records – on FireConnect-compatible speakers in other rooms. Music selection, speaker grouping, and playback management across the home are built into the Pioneer Remote app for iOS and Android.
DTS Play-Fi, Available via Future Firmware Update
DTS Play-Fi wirelessly streams any audio content from any compatible mobile device to the SCLX502 and DTS Play-Fi-compatible audio systems, creating a multi-room system in your home. You can stream different sources to different speakers at the same time from the DTS Play-Fi app.
