Built-in high-resolution audio support allows you to take advantage of dynamic surround sound formats like DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD.
Dolby Surround & DTS Neural:X Upmixing
DTS Neural:X is designed to identify spatial effects in multichannel soundtracks and upmix them for 3D playback, including Dolby formats. Dolby Surround can also upmix other codecs, including DTS formats, for playback in a Dolby Atmos-enabled environment.
MCACC Audio Calibration
Tailor the audio to your room’s acoustics with the MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration) system. With the included microphone, the system automatically compensates for differences in speaker size, level, and distance, and equalizes response. Phase Control, Subwoofer EQ, and Multi-Point Standing Wave Control features are included.
Synchronized Sound with Phase Control
A solution for the phase lag between the subwoofer and main speakers caused by the bass management filter, Phase Control compensates for the delayed bass to enhance sound synchronization.
The Reflex Optimizer, which uses Phase Control technology, adjusts the shift between Atmos-enabled speaker sound and direct speaker sound and helps augment the localization of the sound image by aligning the frequencies with those of the floor speakers.
FlareConnect Multi-Room Audio
FlareConnect shares audio from network and external audio input sources between compatible components. Enjoy multi-room playback of records, CDs, network music services, and more with supported components and speaker systems. Music selection, speaker grouping, and playback management across the home are built into the Pioneer Remote app, which is available on the App Store and Google Play for compatible devices.
Chromecast built-in with the Google Assistant
Stream nearly any audio from your compatible smartphone or computer to the receiver and control playback with Chromecast-enabled apps from your iOS or Android phone or tablet, Mac or Windows laptop, or Chromebook. If you have a smart device featuring the Google Assistant, you can cue and control music on the receiver with just your voice.
DTS Play-Fi Wireless Multi-Room Audio
DTS Play-Fi is a wireless protocol that is designed to work with any audio app on mobile devices and computers. Stream whatever’s playing to the receiver, even different sources to different components at the same time.
