The Rockford Fosgate M2WL-8B Color Optix 8" 2-way speakers deliver loud, clear, accurate sound, and light the way for your fresh or salt-water journey! The M2 can be installed using direct mount or a clamp mount method that provides 360-degree rotation on wake tower bar sizes from 1.5” to 3”. The M2 includes stainless-steel and white “sport” grille inserts and features a rear illuminated 3DIL medallion that can be rotated 360-degrees for proper orientation.

There's a lot more to building a great wakeboard tower speaker than slapping a woofer and a tweeter into a can. Rockford Fosgate M2WL-8B wakeboard tower speakers feature 8" woofers and integrated 1" dome tweeters that handle up to 250 watts RMS. The result is crisp, powerful sound in or out of the boat. Whether you're at the helm or on the end of a ski rope, you'll be amazed at how loud and clear these speakers are on the water.

Add some color

Built-in illumination brings these speakers to life, and you can coordinate them with other Color Optix speakers and subs. The speakers connect with the Rockford Fosgate Color Optix Controller (sold separately) and RF Connect App, allowing you to customize both front speaker and rear medallion with your own color patterns.

Element Ready materials and design

Each rugged UV-, moisture-, and salt-resistant speaker is housed in a high-density polyethylene enclosure with a sturdy stainless-steel grille (sport-style grille option also included). These enclosures meet tough UV and Salt-Fog industry standards so they'll hold up for many seasons on the water. Rockford Fosgate includes universal clamps with 360-degree rotation to fit tubular wakeboard towers from 1.5" to 3" in diameter.

The M2 series of Element Ready wake tower speakers are designed to pair with the Rockford Fosgate Color Optix Controller and RF Connect App through one of its two Deutsch/Amphenol connectors integrated into the speaker. The first one is located inside the center of the 360-degree clamp for a stealth look, and the second is located on the upper-rear for installations where the enclosure is mounted directly to the wake tower bar. These water-tight connections are IP67 certified, making these speakers Element Ready and truly purpose built for marine applications.
