Rockford Fosgate PMX-3 2.7″ Display Compact Marine Digital Media Receiver

The Rockford Fosgate PMX-3  digital media receiver for marine and motorsports applications has a full color 2.7″ TFT display for optimum viewing even in full sun that is optically wet bonded to prevent any dust or moisture penetration. This unit not only has the functionality you desire such as a custom designed GUI interface and menu system built with “ease of use” in mind, but also features full iPhone support with folder browsing capability.

The PMX-3 is IPX6 rated and uses a water resistant rotary encoder knob with white LED button illumination and front mounted sub level controls. With features such as SiriusXM tuner compatibility, Pandora control capabilities and Bluetooth audio steaming with album art support1, this unit becomes a true command center of any system. Output flexibility comes with a 4×50 @ 2ohm internal amplifier or front and rear/sub output RCA’s allowing the addition of aftermarket amplifiers for more power and output.   Android devices equipped with limited functionality. Rockford Fosgate has upgraded the unit to feature a reverse camera composite video input with reverse trigger control and a day/ night display mode for better viewing in low light conditions. Finally, add in the EEprom memory system, custom GUI interface and wired remote expansion capabilities and you have the only media receiver you’ll ever need.

With the PMX-5CAN you can use the built-in Bluetooth to stream downloaded tracks or your favorite Pandora playlists on your Apple and Android smartphone. The Punch EQ gives you everything you need to fine-tune your sound the way you like it. If you have a larger vessel, you’ll appreciate the 2-zone control, especially when you’re at the helm listening to the game and your crew is jammin’ on the bow.
