To help minimise mounting depth, the Power Series T1S1-12 subwoofer features a neodymium motor construction with high-strength magnets. Rockford Fosgate invented novel construction techniques to put a 3-inch voice coil into a 12-inch sub with only a 3-inch mounting depth, then used their Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST) to enhance cone area for richer bass. It all adds up to 600 watts RMS of power handling in a surprisingly small package. Because of its 1-ohm impedance, this sub is ideal for multi-sub configurations or squeezing the most power out of high-powered mono amps.
