TEAC AP701B Reference 700 Series Stereo Power Amplifier - Black
Fully balanced dual mono AP701B power amplifier with two proprietary Hypex Electronics Ncore power amplifier modules.
Fundamental instincts are awakened by sound's unrestrained vitality. The AP701B sets a new benchmark for power amplifiers by combining all the desired components at a high level. Two Ncore modules, discrete buffer amplifiers, independent left/right high-capacity toroidal core power supply transformers, and a dual mono structure from input to output are all included. Additionally, because each channel's input stage is properly balanced, the dynamism of input signals is magnified in their natural form, enhancing the speakers' inherent performance. The cabinet's main material is a 3mm-thick strong metal plate, but it also incorporates a flexible structure for vibration management. The vibration frequency of the entire device is regulated to generate open and energetic sound by combining joints with suspension functions.
Power Supply Is A Component Of The Whole Dual Mono Design
The elaborate circuitry in the AP701B features a complete dual mono structure from input to output with two toroidal core power supply transformers and two Ncore modules. In a dual mono structure, where each channel is entirely mono, interference between the left and right signals is avoided, and excellent channel separation is achieved. Fan-Free Design Is Accomplished With A Successful Ventilation System
The location of the circuit boards was carefully considered for airflow and the configuration of the air inlets and outlets allowed for a fan-free design despite the AP701B power amplifier's high output. By mounting the amplifier modules directly to the bottom panel, heat dispersion is improved. This effectively dissipates interior heat along with the side panel fin construction.
Extensive Vibration Control Design
Transformers, which are prone to causing vibration are kept apart from the bottom panel by a floating frame. The shape of the AP701B's side panel fins, which distribute heat, has been altered to reduce vibration. The TEAC original pin-point feet, which employ a new mechanism are secured to the bottom panel with the necessary allowance in order to thoroughly suppress vibrations that impair audio quality, while the number of screws used to secure the circuit boards to the chassis is kept to a minimum.
