An improved benchmark for belt-drive analogue turntables

The TN3BSEB is a fashionable, svelte-looking belt-driven turntable with an integrated USB digital output and MM-type PHONO EQ amplifier.

It uses a brand-new tonearm with knife-edge pivot-point bearings that was developed in partnership with the premium tonearm manufacturer SAEC for exceptional stability and resolution. To ensure accurate and smooth platter rotation, the belt-drive mechanism works to reduce any unwelcome cogging effects (fine pulsing) caused by the motor’s functioning. The TN3BSEB additionally uses a high-precision NJM8080 op-amp in its built-in Phono EQ amplifier and an AT-VM95E VM-type cartridge from Audio-Technica, allowing users to enjoy the sound of their vinyl records with minimal distortion and excellent fidelity. Furthermore, customers can digitize their vinyl library on their PC or Mac thanks to an integrated analog-to-digital converter and USB connector.

Pivot-Point, Knife-Edge Tone-Arm Bearings

The tone-arm for the TN3BSEB was developed in partnership with the renowned, high-end tonearm manufacturer SAEC Corporation and features a pivot-point bearing with a knife-edge. Contrary to tonearms with traditional bearings, this tonearm’s little vertical motions actually aid in producing a more dynamic sound with superb resolution. The universal head-shell fitting used by the S-shaped tone-arm enables users to quickly and simply swap cartridges and head-shells, and it accommodates a wide variety of cartridge weights (from 14 to 23g / 0.5 to 0.8 oz.).

Adjusting The Stylus Pressure And Precision Anti-Skating

The cartridge can reliably play any high-quality vinyl disc thanks to the static-balanced, S-shaped tone-counterweight arm’s for precision stylus-pressure adjustment and anti-skating mechanism for accurate tracking force adjustment.

VM-Series Cartridge Already Installed

VM-style cartridge For convenience, Audio-Technica makes the AT-VM95E, which has a stylus tip with an elliptical shape and is pre-installed on the head-shell. You’ll be prepared to listen to your records once you’ve unpacked the box, set up the platter, and installed the head-shell on the tonearm. MM-Type Phono EQ Amplifier Built-In

With the TN3BSEB’s MM-type phono EQ amplifier, you can connect the turntable to a traditional amplifier or hi-fi system without a PHONO input. The NJM8080, a low distortion, high-end op-amp, is used to enhance the low-level phono cartridge signals up to LINE level.

External Belt Drive And Die-Cast Aluminium Platter

By driving the TN3BSEB’s platter’s outside rim with a belt drive system, any motor cogging effects are minimised (which has a larger diameter, mass and surface area).

Digital Output Via USB For Archiving Of Digital Data

You can record/archive your analogue collection in a high quality, digital audio format using a USB connector on the back panel to transfer CD-quality digital audio to your PC or Mac. Once you’ve converted your vinyl records to digital files, it’s easy to listen to them on the go with a smartphone or portable audio player or in your car (by burning the files to a CD-R or moving them to a memory card or stick).

Additionally, to guarantee flawless signal transfer, gold-plated PHONO/LINE output terminals are used to stop analogue audio signals from oxidizing and losing quality.

Feet With Superior Shock Absorption And Insulation

The high-density MDF plinth is connected to the rubber cushioned, machined aluminium shell that makes up the insulating feet. The TN3BSEB is particularly resistant to auditory feedback due to their outstanding shock absorption qualities.
