Can I get credit if my product is not eligible?

No. This program is intended to help owners of older products upgrade their systems to enjoy the latest features and experiences.

Can I upgrade more than one eligible product?

Yes. You will receive credit for each eligible product you choose to upgrade. Some exclusions apply.

Is something wrong with my eligible products?

Not at all! This program is entirely optional and simply our way of saying thanks to our loyal and longest-time listeners who want to enjoy the latest Sonos experiences.

Why should I upgrade?

Upgrading ensures you get the latest features and experiences.

What happens when I upgrade?

Once you provide proof of purchase by serial number, your order will receive a discount for up to 30% off. You can use your discount immediately or save it for a future purchase. It does not expire.

How long will it take to approve my order?

Your order will be approved as soon as you confirm you have one or more eligible product(s) by serial number and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Where can I see the discount applied?

You can review all your orders on your Gibbys account or through email.

What can I purchase with my discount?

Your discount applies to a single regular price product or set on gibbyselectronicsupermarket.ca, excluding limited edition products, refurbished products and third-party accessories. If you upgrade Bridge, your discount will only apply to Boost. For more information please review the Terms and Conditions.

Can my discount be applied to multiple products in a single order?

A single discount will only apply to a single product. If you have multiple product discounts, you can use them for an order containing multiple items.

Can I use a single discount product to purchase a speaker set?

Yes. Discount will apply to the full retail price of all included products.

Can I combine my discount with other promotional offers?

The discount cannot be combined with other offers or promotions on gibbyselectronicsupermarket.ca unless otherwise stated.

Can I keep my product as part of my system?

Yes, you can continue using your product.

Can I resell, gift, or donate my product?

Yes. The next registered owner will not be eligible for the Upgrade Program if you have already activated your discount.

Can I send my product back to Gibbys?

Yes. Call the store to request a prepaid shipping label. (Toll Free: 1.866.696.7189)

How should I package my product for return?

Pack the product(s) in an appropriately sized box. Affix the prepaid shipping label and drop the package off at location. You do not need a Sonos box or the original packaging.

Does my credit ever expire?

No. You can use your upgrade credit at any time.

SONOS UPGRADE PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Program Description

The Sonos Upgrade Program (the “Upgrade Program”) begins on or about September 14, 2021 at 12:00:01pm PT and shall end upon the notification of Sonos, Inc. (the “Promotional Period”). Customers that own Qualifying Products (as defined below) are eligible to receive a discount coupon for use with a new Sonos product on http://www.sonos.com, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions specified below (the “Discount Credit”). By participating in the Upgrade Program, each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Sonos, Inc., its wholly owned subsidiaries and Sonos’ designated representatives, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Any information or instructions published by Sonos, Inc., with its registered offices at 614 Chapala Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101, or its wholly owned subsidiaries (collectively “Sonos”) about the Upgrade Program form part of the Terms and Conditions.

Sonos may update, modify, suspend or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time, in its sole discretion, or end the Upgrade Program, by revising the “Last Update” date at the top of this Upgrade Program page and by posting a notification of such update, modification, suspension, termination or ending at https://www.sonos.com/legal/upgrade-terms. Please review it regularly.

Eligibility

Only legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, and the District of Columbia, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Guernsey, Croatia, Jersey, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Romania, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Portugal, New Zealand, and Slovakia (collectively, the “Territories”), who, at the time of participation in the Upgrade Program, are 1) located in one of the Territories, and 2) are eighteen (18) years of age or older, are eligible to participate in the Upgrade Program and redeem a Discount Credit. The Upgrade Program is void where prohibited. If a Qualifying Product has previously been upgraded and a Discount Credit was issued for such product, it is not eligible for Discount Credits and no additional Discount Credits will be issued for the product.

How It Works

– Visit https://www.sonos.com/upgrade to learn about the program.
– Sign into your Sonos account (“Your Account”) on http://www.sonos.com.
– View the products registered to your account in the System tab. Qualifying Products that are eligible for the Upgrade Program will be clearly marked under Your Account, indicating the Discount Credit level that will be applied to your future purchase. Navigate to the Upgrade tab within Your Account, and follow the instruction steps for each Qualifying Product. You will be directed to accept these terms & conditions in order to receive your Discount Credit.
– Your Discount Credit and the amount of your discount will be reflected and available for use anytime you are logged into the “My Account” section of sonos.com.

Qualifying Products

The following Sonos products, that have not previously gone through the Trade Up and/or Upgrade Program, (“Qualifying Products”) are eligible for a Discount Credit:

Discount Credit

Following agreement to the Upgrade Program Terms and Conditions, you will receive a Discount Credit in the “My Account” section of sonos.com.

Customers that redeem a CR200, PLAY:5 GEN1 product or certain CONNECT (including ZP80 and ZP90) or CONNECT:AMP (including ZP100 and ZP120) models will receive a Discount Credit equal to 30% off any one (1) regular priced product on sonos.com, with some product restrictions indicated below. Customers that redeem a BEAM GEN1, ONE GEN1, PLAY:1, PLAY:3, PLAY:5 GEN2, PLAYBAR, PLAYBASE product, or certain CONNECT or CONNECT:AMP models will receive a Discount Credit equal to 15% off any one (1) regular priced product on sonos.com, with some product restrictions indicated below.

MODEL NUMBERS ARE NOT INDICATED EXTERNALLY ON CONNECT AND CONNECT:AMP PRODUCTS. TO VERIFY THE APPLICABLE DISCOUNT CREDIT, YOU CAN LOGIN TO MY ACCOUNT ON SONOS.COM AND VIEW THE APPLICABLE DISCOUNT ON THE SYSTEM OR UPGRADE TAB OR BY CONTACTING SONOS CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

Customers redeeming a BRIDGE product will receive a Discount Credit equal to 30% off one (1) regular priced Boost product on sonos.com. This credit is only available for use on a Boost product and will not be eligible for use on any other product. All other restrictions, qualifications and exclusions stated herein for a Discount Credit apply.

The Discount Credit is single use. The Discount Credit cannot be combined with any other promotion, discount or special pricing and may not be used on gift cards, refurbished products, or third-party products.

General Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Upgrade Program, you agree that Sonos (A) shall not be responsible or liable for, and is hereby released from any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Upgrade Program and (B) has not made any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to your Sonos Device following your agreement to the terms and conditions for receiving a Discount Credit.

Sonos reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the Upgrade Program or the operation of any Discount Credit or Sonos, to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions, or to be acting in a disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Upgrade Program, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, and Sonos reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

In the event Sonos is prevented from issuing Discount Credits or managing and implementing the Upgrade Program as contemplated herein by any event beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, storm, flood, earthquake, explosion, accidents, public disorders, civil unrest, disease outbreak, sabotage, acts of terrorism, acts of war (declared or undeclared), labor shortages riots or acts of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sonos’ control (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sonos shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Upgrade Program.

ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITION OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF PARTICIPANTS OR SONOS IN CONNECTION WITH THE Upgrade Program SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OF CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE’S LAWS. YOUR LOCAL CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS MAY APPLY. SONOS DOES NOT IN ANY WAY RESTRICT THE RIGHTS THAT YOU MAY HAVE UNDER SUCH LAWS.

By participating in the Upgrade Program, you understand and agree that you shall have no right to enjoin or restrain the development, production, advertising, promotion, distribution or exploitation of the Upgrade Program, or any other business or project of Sonos.

Except where prohibited, by participating in the Upgrade Program, you agree that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Upgrade Program shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action and exclusively by arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred (i.e., only costs associated with participating in the Upgrade Program), but shall not include attorney’s fees under any circumstances; and (c) you hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the remainder of these Terms and Conditions, which will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is deemed to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the balance of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with its terms as if the invalid or illegal provision, or the invalid or illegal portion of a provision, were not contained herein.
