Constructed with premium components and designed with decades of award-winning acoustics, the AM3 powered speakers deliver full-range sound with zero distortion thanks to their 4” midbass drivers and ¾” aluminium ferrofluid-cooled tweeters for crystal-clear highs. With a built-in phono preamp you can connect a turntable without extra components or gear, while still being able to stream music from any app or device with high-quality Qualcomm aptX Bluetooth.

Rich And Captivating Audio That Was Perfected In Europe

The previous AI301DAXB had good sound quality, but the TEAC experts took the audio quality even further with the device by listening, adjusting, and perfecting it over an extended period of time with the final tuning being done in Europe. The fruits of such efforts can be heard in this most recent version's substantial dynamic capabilities and rich, melodic character.

Solid Aluminium Construction And A Compact Footprint

The AI301DAXB may be placed in very small areas, such as in a narrow space in a TV stand or on a desktop thanks to its sleek and compact body and small footprint (215mm wide, 254mm deep, and 61mm high). It has an inherently elegant feel because to the exquisitely machined aluminium volume knob and panels and the full-metal body construction effectively reduces vibrations to prevent any negative effects on sound quality.

Bluetooth® Receiver Built-In For Wireless Streaming

For high-quality wireless audio streaming, the AI-301DA-X has a built-in Bluetooth® receiver module supporting the Qualcomm® aptXTM codec. Due to Qualcomm® aptXTM's short latency and good error recovery, which also produces excellent sound, this codec has become the de facto standard for wireless streaming. Furthermore, the fast AAC codec is available for individuals who stream from an iPhone or iPad.

Automatically Starts When A Digital Signal Is Detected

When an incoming digital audio signal is recognised, the AI301DAXB automatically turns on and shuts off when the signal is turned off. This enables you to experience better TV audio with the least amount of hassle, for example, by turning on the AI-301DA-X simply by turning on your TV.

BurrBrown PCM1795 D/A Converter, 32-Bit

In order to process the huge amounts of digital audio data present in DSD128 and PCM 192kHz/32 content, a high-performance BurrBrown PCM 1795 D/A converter is employed. Its 32-bit processing conveys fine detail and a depth of sound from Hi-Res files that’s far beyond what you can hear from standard audio CD.

Supports Native Playback Of DSD128

The USB port of the AI301DAXB supports DSD Native playback. Without altering the PCM format, this directly converts a DSD signal into an analogue waveform in ASIO2.1 and DoP formats. Asynchronous transfer mode is also supported for precise data transfer by using the AI301DAXB-more X's precise on-board clock. Additionally, users of Windows and Mac can playback Hi-Res files like DSD128 and PCM192/32 without the need for laborious configuration thanks to the free TEAC HR Audio Player.

Top-Notch 100mW + 100mW Headphone Output Stage

The AI301DAXB incorporates TEAC's coupling capacitor-less circuit (CCLC), a technological advancement that eliminates output stage capacitors to produce rich bass sound and quick transient response into its onboard headphone amplifier (32ohm load).

Digital Inputs Using The Standard Coaxial And Optical Cables

Conventional S/PDIF inputs are also available in addition to the USB audio input with the coaxial digital input supporting signals up to 192 kHz/24 bits and the optical input supporting up to 96 kHz/24 bits.

Pre-Out For The 2.1 System's Subwoofer

A subwoofer pre-out on the AI-301DA-X allows you to connect a powered subwoofer for extra bass sound in a 2.1ch system, especially useful for TV sound enhancement.
