iDatalink Maestro HRN-HRR-TO2 Plug and Play T-Harness for TO2 Toyota Vehicles with HU connectors
Toyota and iDatalink collaborate
In certain 2012–19 Toyota-built automobiles, the HRN–HRR–TO2 wire adapter from iDatalink combines with the Maestro ADS–MRR or ADS–MRR2 module to enable the connection of a new car stereo. Once connected, these vehicles' factory amp and steering wheel audio controls continue to function.
Highlights:
- allows some Toyota automobiles to be fitted with a new car radio (also requires the Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module).
- maintains the usage of your factory amplifier and steering-wheel audio controls with any automotive radio.
- has an iDatalink-capable radio that keeps the following factory features:
- Aux input
- a fader
- a menu for customising the vehicle's settings
- a backup camera.
- Some iDatalink-ready radios show performance metrics and gauges on the touchscreen.
The Maestro module and the wiring plugs on your factory radio are connected via connectors that are included in the package. The power/ground, illumination, speaker, and navigation output wires on this harness must be soldered or spliced to the equivalent wires on the wiring harness of your aftermarket receiver.
This harness is fully utilized by an automobile stereo that is iDatalink-capable.
If you purchase an iDatalink-capable car stereo, you will benefit from the great performance of your receiver as well as seamless touchscreen control over the majority of the factory features in some Toyota-built cars, such as your backup camera and vehicle settings menu. You'll also value the adapter's extra functions, which include the ability to display vehicle information and performance gauges on select iDatalink-ready receivers. This harness has an in-line head-unit connector that plugs into their new "Head-unit direct" harnesses for specific radio brands. Simply cut off the plug and attach the wires to the harness that came with your new radio if you're installing a radio that doesn't function with a "Head-unit direct" connection. Installation Note: To connect any new car stereo to your Toyota-built vehicle, the HRN-HRR-TO2 adapter must be used in conjunction with the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module.
