Built to deliver impressive performance

MB Quart Nautic speakers give you the performance you demand from your marine speakers, with quality components and thoughtful design. The UV-resistant polypropylene cone is attached to the frame with a durable butyl rubber surround and stabilized with a woven aramid fiber spider that resists weather- and temperature-related degradation. MB Quart mounts the 3/4" composite dome tweeter securely in the grille for superior high-frequency dispersion, while eliminating the possibility of water leaking into the woofer's internal works. These efficient speakers deliver maximum output without stressing your amplifier.

Marine-ready components

These rugged speakers are made for boating, with water-resistant components and super-strong composite baskets, magnet covers and grilles. The exterior surfaces are coated with UV-resistant paint that stands up to broiling sunlight. Inside, the crossover network is conformal-coated to protect against fresh and salt water spray, not to mention dust and sand. In fact, they're IP67-rated, which means they meet the highest standards of dust and moisture resistance.

Cone Material

6.5 inch Composite Poly Midrange: Water resistant composite polypropylene cone with temperature stable UV Butyl rubber surround mounted on a lightweight composite frame.

Surround / Cone Coupling

UV Butyl: Butyl Rubber remains musical in all weather. Does not stiffen in cold.

?Voice Coil / Former Assembly

High Temperature Voice Coil and Former: Voice coil is high temperature copper, wound on an aluminum former which allows the voice coil to handle more power while remaining light in weight.

Spider

Woven fiber composite spider to stabilize the cone and voice coil in all musical situations.

Cooling System

Front and rear venting allows air passage through the spider and back plate to exchange air over the voice coil.

Crossover

6dB high-pass: Clean and simple crossover design allows the most possible signal to get to the speaker from your source unit or amp.

Tweeter Hardware

Mounting hardware are Die Cast for strength and powder coated to resisted outdoor elements of sun, spray and dust.
