MB Quart Nautic speakers give you the performance you demand from your marine speakers, with quality components and thoughtful design. The UV-resistant polypropylene cone is attached to the frame with a durable butyl rubber surround and stabilized with a woven aramid fiber spider that resists weather- and temperature-related degradation.. MB Quart mounts the 1" titanium dome tweeter securely in the grille for superior high-frequency dispersion, and eliminating the possibility of water leaking into the woofer's internal works. These efficient speakers deliver maximum output without stressing your amplifier.

Marine-ready components

These rugged speakers are made for boating, with water-resistant components and super-strong composite baskets, magnet covers and grilles. The exterior surfaces are coated with UV-resistant paint that stands up to broiling sunlight. Inside, the crossover network is conformal-coated to protect against fresh and salt water spray, not to mention dust and sand. In fact, your MB Quart speakers are IPX68-rated, which means they meet the highest standards of dust and moisture resistance.

• TWEETERS: A 1 inch Titanium Dome tweeter utilizing Waterproof Coated Silk Surround. The result of this configuration is natural sounding high frequency response while producing high volume (SPL) without the typical harshness or distortions which can occur at higher listening levels.
• CONE MATERIAL: Injection Molded Composite Polypropylene Cone: Delivers impactful bass with minimal cone flex which can cause distortion or sloppy bass.
• SURROUND/CONE COUPLING: Co-Molded Santoprene™ Surrounds: The cone and surround are coupled in such a way to maximize bass frequency power while remaining impervious to the outdoor environment including colder weather.
• GASKET: Molded Polymer Sealing gaskets are utilized to keep the speaker isolated from the mounting surface and improve protection from water intrusion.
• SPIDER: An Aramid fiber composite spider is used to stabilize the cone and voice coil in all musical situations. Armid fibers do not degrade over time and are not susceptible to temperature swings.
