The PJ50435285 features RPM-1 Carbon that uses numerous improvements and advancements, including: A newly developed inverted platter bearing with a ceramic ball is housed in a low resonance chassis, substantially reducing rumble. An ultra-precision AC generator with a DC power supply is used to smoothly drive an outboard 15V AC motor for even greater speed stability. Carbon fiber, aluminum, and resin are used to create an S-shaped tonearm tube with an entirely unique design. Arm tube rigidity is strengthened, internal damping is increased, and resonances are minimized to a minimum using a challenging three-step technique involving heat treatment and 100bar pressure. Because of this, PJ50435285 ’s tonearm is also compatible with MC cartridges. New magnetic anti-skating technology and a TPE-damped counterbalance are further features.
