B-Stock items are returns from other authorized retailers to the manufacturer like Denon, Marantz, Pioneer, Pioneer Elite, Onkyo and Audio Technica where they originally came from. These companies will thoroughly check over each item and recertify them before deeming it B-Stock. Gibbys Electronic Supermarket is the largest “B Stock “ reseller in Canada and buys large quantities every month to get the best deal and then passes the savings along to customers. Generally these models come with a 1 year warranty unless otherwise noted. B-Stock products also come with a 30 day over the counter exchange *. If there is any manufacturers defect in the first thirty days Gibbys will exchange the unit for another unit*. After 30 days the manufacturer’s guarantee is in effect. B Stock items can be called many names such as: Refurbished, Refurb, Recertified, Returned
Open Box: Item Definition
Open Box items are usually store demos or possibly customer exchanges. In some cases, you may see Open Box at the end of a product title to delineate this. These items are “like new” and come with full manufacturer’s warranty.
Clearance: Item Definition
Clearance items are usually Brand New products that are no longer available (discontinued) from the manufacturer. These items are Final Sale and are not eligible to be returned for a refund. Clearance items are protected by a full manufacturer’s warranty. They are subject to limited stock availability and only offered while supplies last.
