KDIP922ENC Features

• AV Over IP System: Enables video distribution, matrix switching, and extension through the use of a managed gigabit network switch
• Processing for video walls: Up to 16V and 16H monitors can be used to form video walls using encoder + decoder systems
• Complete inter-system compatibility with KDIP922ENC ENC and DEC systems
• HDCP 2.2: Backward compatibility and compliance with HDCP 2.2
• KDIP922ENC has support for 4096x2160 or 3840x2160 at 24/25/30Hz at 4:4:4/8 Bit or 60Hz at 4:2:0/8 Bit in 4K/Ultra HD resolution (10.2Gbps max bandwidth)
• Each decoder may downscale incoming 4K resolution to 1080p, allowing monitors to always display material at the best resolution
• High Dynamic Range (HDR): By using an AppleTV source at 4K/30 [4:2:2] 12bit deep colour, HDR is accomplished, allowing for a wider range of brightness levels and more lifelike visuals
• Up to 330 feet (100 metres) of signal extension at 4K 24/25/30(4:4:4)/60(4:2:0) into network switches or point-to-point
• When KDIP922ENC is used with a PoE network switch, Power over Ethernet eliminates the need for a power supply
• Dual LAN: An integrated two-port switch connects connected devices to the network without the need for an additional home-run wire
• Additional reliability for non-PoE integration with a redundant power supply
• Audio De-Embedding: To enable external audio connectivity with audio distribution systems and amplifiers, audio from the HDMI input is de-embedded through an Analog L/R Balanced/Unbalanced Phoenix connector
• Volume, muting, a 3-band EQ, and a lip-sync delay can all be adjusted on the audio de-embed port of the audio pre-amp
• Up to 75 feet can be connected to a local monitor or other devices through HDMI pass-through
• KDIP922ENC is fully licensed and compatible with HDCP 2.2 and the newest HDMI technologies, including 4K/UHD 4:2:0/8bit at 60 fps, HDMI® and HDCP licencing
• 3 multi-function ports that can be controlled using the KeyCode open API, as the Compass Control® Pro master controller, or via an IP extension
• EDID Control: The internal library contains 15 default EDID configurations and native EDID information from connected output/display devices
• Control over hot plug detection allows integrators to decide whether to force active signal voltage onto associated input devices
• Full Buffer System: Controls EDID Control handshake, Hot Plug control, TMDS re-clocking and signal re-generation, HDCP authentication with source and display.
• USB 2.0: Up to 4 USB keyboards or mice can be routed simultaneously to a single host computer or encoder and routing is done in accordance with the selection of the AV source and display. Maximum bandwidth is 1.5Mbps. Webcams are not accepted
• IR Sensor: Powered by a +5V IR Without an external IR connection block, the in port collects line-of-sight IR from the remote(s)
• Two IR channels allow for up-and-down control of objects linked to the encoder and decoder modules
• KDIP922ENC has bi-Directional control to/from the encoder and decoder unit on the Phoenix connector, using RS-232
