Key Digital KDX444LP 4K 18G Extender with HDMI Pass-Through
4K 18G HDMI over 70m (230ft) CAT5e/6 Extender Set with Power over CAT, HDMI Pass Thru, IR, RS-232
Features
- Depending on the length of the cable, a single KDX444LP CAT5e/6 UTP/STP extension offers fully automatic equalization and amplification
- 4096×2160 or 3840×2160 at 24/25/30/60hz and 4:4:4 are supported for 4K resolution (signals up to 18Gbps bandwidth)
- One power supply is all that is required for flexible Power over CAT (PoC). Connect at the TX or RX unit
- Using 18G enabling technology, all video formats surpassing 10.2Gbps are compressed visually to fit the transmission channel
- Uncompressed 10.2Gbps signal extension: made possible by the 10G Pass-thru mode
- Deep Color Support: Up to UHD/4K 30Hz 4:4:4/12 bits or 60Hz 4:4:4/8 bit
- IR Sensor: Without the need of an external IR connection block, the KDX444LP sensor is powered by +5V on the IR In ports and captures line-of-sight IR from the remote
- Two IR channels: allow for up-and-down control of objects or control systems that are attached to the Tx and Rx units
- Bi-Directional control: from/to the Tx and Rx unit on the Phoenix connector for RS-232
- Full Buffer Technology: a proprietary combination of EDID, HDCP, TMDS, and HPD management developed by Key Digital, removes barriers to professional AV installation
- EDID Management: Internal library with 14 internal EDID handshakes, including 4K with HDR, in addition to native EDID data copied via HDMI pass-through or CAT5e/6 outputs.
- HDCP Authentication: For one-to-one topology, HDCP sources in the KDX444LP are authenticated using the HDCP key on the transmit unit
- Control over hot plug detection: allows integrators to decide whether to force active signal voltage to connected displays or other output devices.
- Regenerating TMDS (AV signal): channel data at the transmit unit for a fresh AV signal is known as TMDS re-clocking

- Up to 230 feet/70 meters with CAT5e/6 and 4K/UHD (18G)
- Up to 328 feet/100 meters with CAT6A STP and 4K/UHD (18G)
- Up to 230 feet (70 meters) in 1080p using CAT5e/6
- Up to 328 feet / 100 meters in 1080p with CAT6A
Support for surround sound is available on KDX444LP UHDoTP and HDMI pass-through outputs:
- Supports Dolby®, Dolby® TrueHD, DTS®, and DTS-HD® with HDMI pass-through (formats up to 7.1)
- Supports Dolby® and DTSTM (formats up to 5.1/6.1) using CAT5e/6 Output
