• Depending on the length of the cable, UHDoTP via KDEX18G CAT5e/6 UTP/STP extension fully and automatically adjusts the feedback, equalisation, and amplification
• 4096x2160 or 3840x2160 at 24/25/30/60hz and 4:4:4 are supported for 4K resolution (signals up to 18Gbps bandwidth)
• To meet KDEX18G's UHDoTP transmission channel, all video formats above 10.2Gbps are compressed visually using 18G technology.
• 4K to 1080p Down Conversion: Optional resolution downscaling conducted at UHDoTP output offers more retrofit installation alternatives and improved range performance
• Uncompressed 10.2Gbps signal extension is made possible by the 10G Pass-thru mode
• Only one power connection is required for flexible Power over CAT (PoC). Rx or Tx may power each other
• KDEX18G features a low profile: A thin chassis

• Full Buffer System™: Controls EDID handshake, TMDS re-clocking and signal re-generation, HDCP authentication with source and display, and Hot Plug Detection
• IR sensor: IR sensor powered by +5V. Without an external IR connection block, the in port collects line-of-sight IR from the remote(s)
• KDEX18G features two IR channels allow for up-and-down control of objects or control systems that are attached to the Tx and Rx units
• AV receiver or local monitor connections are made possible using HDMI pass-through

Extension of KDEX18G's signal for improved cable and resolution:

• 4K/UHD: CAT5e/6 up to 35 metres (115 feet), CAT6A STP up to 40 metres (131 feet).
• 1080p: CAT6A STP up to 60m (197ft) and a maximum of 50m (164ft)
• A 5 m minimum (17ft) Each resolution requires a CAT5e/6 cable.

On HDMI pass-through and UHDoTP outputs, surround audio is supported:

• Supports Dolby®, Dolby® TrueHD, DTS®, and DTS-HD® with HDMI pass-through (formats up to 7.1)
• Supports Dolby® and DTSTM (formats up to 5.1/6.1) in UHDoTP output
