iDatalink Maestro HRN-HRR-FO2 Plug and Play T-Harness for FO2 Ford Vehicles with HU connectors
Keeping the features of your Ford
With the help of iDatalink's HRN-HRR-FO2 wiring adapter and the Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module, you can install a new car audio in some 2009–up Ford vehicles equipped with the 4.3” My Ford radio. Once linked, you can configure two functions for each button on your steering wheel while still using the audio controls. Additionally, the harness offers the outputs required to install a radio with navigation features, such as auxiliary power, illumination, parking brake, VSS, and foot brake outputs, so you may preserve your factory backup camera and amplifier (if fitted).
HRN-HRR-FO2 Highlights:
- allows certain Ford vehicles to be fitted with a new receiver (also requires the Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module).
- maintains stock backup camera, factory amp, and steering wheel controls in some models.
- with a few Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, and Sony receivers, maintains the majority of SYNC functionality.
- select Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, and Sony receivers show engine performance statistics on touchscreens.
- eliminates the need for splicing when used with "Head-unit Direct" harnesses from iDatalink.
Extra capabilities
The majority of SYNC capabilities, such as the Media Player, hands-free calling, voice commands, and the display of song information on the 4.3" screen, can still be used with a compatible iDatalink-ready car audio. You may also set up gauges and other information with these receivers to display on your screen, like tyre pressure, battery voltage, door status, engine codes, and visual parking assistance.
Connect right to your new stereo.
This harness also has an in-line head-unit connector that can be plugged into their new "Head-unit direct" harnesses for specific radio brands, which do not require any wire splicing. Cutting off the plug and connecting the wires to the harness provided with your new radio is all that is required to install a radio that is incompatible with a "Head-unit direct" harness. Installation advice: To connect a new car audio to your Ford vehicle, the HRN-HRR-FO2 harness needs to be used with the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module.
