The three-way MPK163.3 car audio speaker system is designed for those who demand the best: the MP 70.3 midrange which features a Neodymium double magnet inside the coil, produces an enthralling midrange that pairs well with the MPK163.3 woofer's powerful mid-low and the detailed high range of the MP25.3 tweeter. The MP 70.3's 20 mm coil emphasizes dynamics, while the V-cone® design improves off-axis dispersion and the Boundary Free Surround allows for a larger low-frequency extension. Using ultra-selected components, the customized MPCX 3.3 crossover provides optimum crossover spots to leverage the midrange exceptional extension.

Each speaker has a "Boundary Free" rubber surround with increased pressed pulp and cotton fiber woofer to move more air with accuracy for more dramatic lows. The V-cone form of the woofer optimizes dispersion and helps provide audible lows. The included 3" driver bolsters the midrange with exquisite sound using the same technology and materials. Superior damping is also important to the sound of these speakers; less resonance minimizes distortion, resulting in a more realistic sound. The woofer's outstanding low-frequency response, the midrange driver's vast coverage, and the smooth transition to the Tetolon dome tweeter are all aided by the included crossovers. Hertz includes tweeter and midrange level settings, allowing you to tailor the mids and highs to your system's needs.
