iDatalink APX-S8-FO1 Radio Installation Kit for Select Ford Vehicles
The iDatalink APX-S8-FO1 Radio Installation Kit is designed to install a direct replacement Kenwood or JVC aftermarket radio with an 8" or 10" screen in select 2011-2023 Ford vehicles equipped with the factory 8" MyFord Touch radio. When paired with an iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 interface module, this kit helps retain key factory features while adding expanded vehicle information and control through the compatible aftermarket radio.
The APX-S8-FO1 helps maintain factory amplifier functionality, climate controls, vehicle settings, steering wheel audio controls, backup camera features, USB ports, warning chimes, and other factory functions when supported by the vehicle. It also provides access to vehicle information such as tire pressure, battery voltage, and door-open status, along with selectable performance gauges and check-engine-code functions.
Factory Feature Retention:
• Factory amplifier with turn-on and fader
• Factory climate display and control through the compatible aftermarket receiver touchscreen
• Access to factory vehicle settings through the aftermarket head unit touchscreen
• Secondary vehicle display, if factory equipped, with audio information, hands-free information, and internal navigation
• Steering wheel audio controls with two function buttons and expandable radio functions
• Backup camera with dynamic parking guidelines
• Factory 360° camera, if equipped
• Factory auto camera switching when compatible aftermarket front and/or side cameras are added
