The very flexible XDM800/8 can produce a stunning 100 watts to each of its eight channels At 2 ohms (14.4V, 1% THD) and offers eight channels of pristine, full-range power. JL Audio's cutting-edge NexD high-speed switching architecture, which enables full bandwidth Class D operation with incredibly low distortion and incredible efficiency, is the technology that enables this much power in such a small chassis.

The XDM800/8 is made of marine-grade materials and has a unique dual-mode input filter for noise-free performance in boats or automobiles. It is suitable for installation in cars or boats. For simple factory system modifications, automatic turn-on functionality (through signal detection or DC-offset sensing) is also built in.

The XDM800/8 features a continuously changeable cutoff frequency selection from 50–500 Hz and a 12 dB/octave filter for each channel bank that may be set up as a low-pass or high-pass filter. You may regulate the volume of two, four, or all eight amplifier channels from the driver's seat or cockpit with the installation of an optional HD-RLC or MHD-RLC (water-resistant) remote level controller (each sold separately).
