AC power, telephone and coax lines can provide direct pathways for surges and spikes to enter and damage expensive audio/video equipment. M8-AV eliminates voltage irregularities & protects your AV system.
Surge Protection
Panamax's patented AVM circuitry continuously monitors the incoming line voltage and disconnects your equipment in the event of an overvoltage or under-voltage (brownout). Power is automatically reconnect when voltage returns to a safe level, eliminating service calls or system downtime.

The M8-AV's Power Cleaning and Filtration eliminate common symptoms of contaminated power (including loss of detail, pops, hisses, hums and visual artifacts) and allows your A/V equipment to perform up to its full capability.
Power protection for all your gear
The M8-AV features eight fully protected AC outlets, conveniently spaced to allow for bulky transformers. You get two sets of protected coaxial input/output jacks for cable, antenna, or digital satellite TV connections. The M8-AV also has one set of in/out jacks to protect your telephone connections.Quick response prevents damage
The M8-AV reacts to a voltage spike in less than a nanosecond, breaking the connection to protect your equipment.
