Big bass aficionados can also upgrade their system (firmware available June 2023) with a Dirac Live Bass Control Single/Multi Subwoofer for optimum adjustment of the lowest tones.

THX Certified

After thousands of tests, Onkyo became the very first consumer home theatre equipment firm to be THX-certified in 1993. Klipsch and Onkyo collaborated to implement particular crossover values for new speakers, allowing you to quickly and seamlessly combine your Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere speakers with your new Onkyo AVR. Simply choose the speaker model for each channel, and the best crossover value will be applied automatically.

DTS Play-Fi can synchronize music in multiple rooms. Each member of your family can listen to music on their own device in a room or group of rooms. DTS Play-Fi enables you to create a full multi-room ecosystem that meets nearly every requirement.

Certified for use with Sonos

This Onkyo receiver can be added to an existing Sonos Home Sound System or used to start a new one by simply connecting it to a Sonos Port*. This Works With Sonos Certified AVR provides a top-of-the-line tie-in to the Sonos ecosystem, awakening, changing inputs and playing at any volume you prefer via the Sonos Volume-Pass Through feature from the Sonos app*. The TX-RZ70 can function with up to three Sonos Ports, one for each of three distinct zones, each playing a different Sonos Radio streaming service. *A Sonos Port is required and sold separately

Bluetooth Bi-Directional Technology

Bluetooth wireless technology is used by this Onkyo AVR to deliver and receive audio. Stream audio from your device to the receiver using SBC or AAC codecs, or use SBC, aptXTM, or aptX HD codecs to send audio to compatible wireless headphones, including 24-bit audio using aptX HD. The current generation of Bluetooth's increased data transfer capabilities ensure clear and dependable sound reproduction, allowing you to hear your favourite music exactly as the recording engineer intended.
