The P1 15" subwoofer from Rockford Fosgate is the first in a line of well-known "Punch" subwoofers. The P1S2-15 has a 2-Ohm voice coil, 250 Watts RMS power handling, and a soft touch ABS trim ring that can be used to accommodate a grille insert.

They quickly became known as "The Woofer of Choice" for car audio enthusiasts when they first debuted in the 1980s, and this tradition continues today. Our VAST technology increases surface cone area by up to 25%, and our Kevlar fibre reinforced paper cones deliver bass impact you can feel. Standard sealed and vented enclosures work best. Soft touch ABS trim ring is included.

The P1S2-15 15" subwoofer was designed by Rockford Fosgate engineers to deliver the kind of powerful low-end you want in your car. Its responsive paper cone is reinforced with the same Kevlar fibers found in bulletproof vests, giving you the best of both worlds: warm bass with a lot of punch. The oversized rubber surround is attached to the cone using a new technique that increases available cone area by 25%, allowing this sub to push more air for even bigger bass.
The P1S2-15 sub's extended pole piece and bumped backplate allow for a more heavy excursion, allowing it to reach deeper lows without "bottoming out." This subwoofer can be used in a sealed or ported enclosure, giving you the flexibility to choose the type of bass you want for your system. The 2-ohm impedance of the sub will draw the most power from your mono sub amp.
