The AX505B is a stereo integrated amplifier with an A4-size footprint that produces 115W + 115W of output power.

We used a cool-running, energy-efficient TEAC tuned Ncore module by Dutch company Hypex in the power amplifier portion. Hi-Res audio information is reproduced with authentic energy and musical passion by its crystal-clear audio with low distortion and high Signalto-Noise ratio. The AX505B also features an integrated headphone amplifier that enables "ground independent" connections, enabling high-quality headphone listening. A pair of eye-catching level metres on the front panel track musical volume levels as they ebb and flow but they are admittedly more "eye candy" than a practical requirement. The presence of a well-damped volume control finished with a machined aluminium knob for precise volume adjustment further improves the user experience. The listener may concentrate on their music without being distracted by annoying fan noise thanks to a passive-cooling design that ensures absolutely silent operation.
