• Power/Ground: The connector includes 12" 10-gauge power (red) and ground (black) pigtails, with the red power wire featuring a large, in-line noise filter. For additional safety, make sure to add a 30A fuse near the battery's positive (+) terminal.
• Remote Turn-on: Two remote leads are available on the connector. Connect the blue/white Remote Turn-on lead to the +12V remote turn-on or power antenna lead from the head unit. The solid blue Remote Out lead can be used to turn on additional amplifiers. If your head unit lacks an amplifier turn-on lead, you can explore Alternate Turn-on Options.
• Inputs: The amplifier accepts either line-level or speaker-level inputs. The amp's input wires feature color-coded twisted pairs with female RCA jacks. If your source unit has RCA outputs, simply connect RCA cables to the amp. For source units without RCA outputs, you can cut off the amp's RCA jacks and splice the source unit's speaker wires to the twisted pair inputs (Color codes: Left: white, Right: gray).
• Subwoofer Outputs: The connector offers speaker output wires for one or two subwoofers, featuring two brown wires (+) and two brown/black wires (-) for connecting the subs. The amplifier supports a 4" or 2" load.
• Remote Bass Control: An RJ-25 phone-type connector is available for an optional remote bass control. The Alpine RUX-KNOB.2 can be added to control the amplifier's output conveniently from the front of the vehicle. A waterproof, screw-on cap protects the connector when not in use.

Alpine RUX-KNOB.2 Remote Bass Level Control

The optional Alpine RUX-KNOB.2 remote bass control knob plugs right in to select Alpine amplifiers for quick direct subwoofer control to make bass adjustments on the fly. This handy little knob adjusts your amp's level from its set maximum volume all the way down to virtually "off." Since it adjusts level and not "bass boost," you'll maintain the same bass tone as you turn the volume up and down.

Tweak the Subwoofer Volume Driver's Seat

The RUX-KNOB.2 remote level controller works with Alpine's amplifiers so you can manage your bass level from the front of your vehicle. This handy little knob adjusts your amp's level from its set maximum volume all the way down to virtually "off." Since it adjusts level and not "bass boost," you'll maintain the same bass tone as you turn the volume up and down. You can control multiple amplifiers with a single remote by adding a standard phone cable splitter (not included).
