Blustream AMF42AU Advanced Multi-Format Presentation Switcher
The Blustream AMF42AU is an advanced 4K 4x2 HDMI 2.0 multi-format presentation switcher featuring 3 HDMI and 1 USB-C input with routing to 2 HDMI and 1 HDBaseT outputs. It provides seamless switching, independent output scaling, MIC mixing with 48V phantom power, and PoC to power a compatible Blustream HDBaseT receiver, making it suitable for boardroom, classroom, or huddle-space applications.
4x2 4K Multi-Format Switching
Routes 3 x HDMI 2.0 and 1 x USB-C inputs independently to 2 x HDMI 2.0 and 1 x HDBaseT outputs. Supports resolutions up to 4K UHD 60Hz 4:4:4 with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliance, and Advanced Colour Space Conversion (CSC) supporting the 18Gbps specification.
HDBaseT Distribution and PoC
Advanced HDBaseT technology offers distribution of video and audio over a single CAT cable up to 70m at 1080p (4K up to 40m). Output 2 provides dual HDMI/HDBaseT. PoC is included to power a Blustream compatible HDBaseT receiver.
Seamless Switching and Independent Scaling
Seamless source switching is available with manual or auto source selection. Independent video scaling is provided on outputs.
USB-C with 40W Charging
USB Type-C input supports up to 4K UHD 60Hz 4:4:4, DP1.2, and 40W charging capability.
Comprehensive Audio Integration
Audio breakout to analogue L/R (balanced/unbalanced) and Toslink (S/PDIF) digital outputs operates concurrently. ARC breakout is available via S/PDIF when using the RX70CS receiver. Analogue audio inputs and output support both balanced and unbalanced audio. A MIC mixer over source audio is included with independent level adjustment, and the MIC input supports line level or 48V phantom power.
Flexible Control and Web Configuration
Control and configuration are available via Web GUI. Source and display control are configurable via CEC, RS-232, and IR, with IR pass-through and control available via front panel, IR, RS-232, and TCP/IP. 3rd party drivers are available for major control brands. Advanced EDID management is included.
Installation, Compliance, and Compatibility
HDCP 2.2 compliant. The unit is 1U rack mountable with rack ears included. All features are designed to work with the Blustream RX70CS HDBaseT receiver. The HDBaseT output is compatible with all Blustream receivers; however, functionality may vary. Refer to the product manual for compatibility before connecting.
