Blustream DA1414 14x14 Audio Matrix with Dante and USB
The Blustream DA1414 audio matrix delivers seamless distribution of multiple audio sources across a multi-zone setup with Dante/AES67, analogue, and USB audio connectivity. It provides flexible routing and processing so you can manage levels, balance, and EQ per input and output channel from several control options.
Route and manage audio across multi-zone systems
The DA1414 supports matrix routing and independent control of mono audio signals, which helps you distribute and switch audio feeds across zones with precise channel-by-channel control. Additionally, API switching functionality lets you route Dante channels via third party control platforms, bypassing standard Dante Controller or Domain Manager platforms.
- 14 x 14 audio matrix supporting separation (mono) of all audio channels with independent control
- API switching functionality for routing Dante channels via third party control platforms
- Supports matrix routing to and from Dante/AES67, analogue, and USB audio channels
Flexible connectivity for mixed source types
The unit combines Dante/AES67 networking, balanced/unbalanced analogue, and dual USB audio options, so it fits many diverse system designs. For microphone or line-level integration, the analogue inputs include selectable phantom power.
- 8 x Dante/AES67, 4 x balanced/unbalanced analogue, and 2 x USB audio inputs
- 8 x Dante/AES67, 4 x balanced/unbalanced analogue, and 2 x USB audio channels
- Selectable 48V/0.5mA phantom power on MIC line level
- Selectable USB audio between USB-C and USB Type-B inputs with USB audio class 2.0 support
- Supports AES67 RTP audio transport
Onboard processing for per-channel control
Advanced audio processing on both the input and output stages makes it easier to tailor signals for each zone or endpoint. As a result, you can apply volume, balance, and detailed equalisation and filtering on a per-channel basis.
- Volume and balance control per input and output channel
- Up to an 8-band parametric equaliser per input and output channel
- High/low shelf and high/low pass filtering on input and output stages
- Supports 48kHz 24-bit sampling rate for A/D and D/A conversion
- Supports 44.1, 48, & 96kHz sample rates @ 24-bit
Network reliability, power flexibility, and control options
Two Dante LAN ports support network redundancy, while configurable Dante device latency helps align performance to your installation needs. It also supports power via PoE+ through the Primary LAN connection, or from a local power supply where no PoE is available.
- 2 x Dante LAN ports supporting network redundancy
- Configurable Dante device latency supports 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10ms
- Supports power via PoE+ (Class 4 IEEE 802.3at) via Primary LAN connection, or local power supply
- Control via front panel, RS-232, TCP/IP, and web-GUI
Rack-ready integration
A 1U design supports 19” rack mount integration, which keeps multi-zone audio distribution organised in professional racks. The rack mounting kit is included.
- 1U design for 19” rack mount integration
- Rack mounting kit included
Frequently Asked Questions
- How can I power the DA1414 in a rack or equipment room? It supports power via PoE+ (Class 4 IEEE 802.3at) through the Primary LAN connection, or it can run from a local power supply where no PoE is available.
- What audio connections does it support for routing and processing? It supports Dante/AES67, balanced/unbalanced analogue, and USB audio connectivity, with routing to and from 8 x Dante/AES67, 4 x analogue, and 2 x USB audio channels.
- Can I control levels and EQ for each input and output? Yes. It supports volume, balance, and up to an 8-band parametric equaliser with high/low shelf and high/low pass filtering per input and output channel.
- What control methods are available for system integration? You can control it via the front panel, RS-232, TCP/IP, and a web-GUI.
- Can I route Dante channels through third party control systems? Yes. The system includes API switching functionality that lets users route Dante channels via third party control platforms, bypassing standard Dante Controller or Domain Manager platforms.
