Blustream DA22OPT Optical To Dante Audio Converter
The Blustream DA22OPT encodes 2ch optical S/PDIF audio to a Dante digital signal and decodes a Dante digital signal to 2ch optical S/PDIF audio. It is a plug & play device powered using PoE and also supports AES67 RTP audio transport.
Bidirectional optical S/PDIF and Dante conversion
This converter enables two-way audio signal flow between optical S/PDIF and Dante networks.
- Encodes 2ch optical S/PDIF audio to a Dante digital signal.
- Decodes a 2ch Dante digital signal to optical S/PDIF audio.
- Optical S/PDIF signal can be routed from Input to Output by binding the connection in Dante Controller.
Plug & play power and control
Deployment and management are supported by built-in power and configuration capabilities.
- Plug & play device powered using PoE (Power Over Ethernet).
- Features Class 0 802.3af PoE for powering from any PoE switch.
- In-built web-GUI for configuration and control.
- Local 12V power supply input for when a network switch does not support PoE (PS121PH power supply sold separately).
Audio format support and latency options
The DA22OPT accommodates common sample rates and provides adjustable settings for device performance.
- Supports 44.1, 48, 88.2 & 96kHz sample rates at 16, 24 & 32-bit.
- Configurable Dante device latency: 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10ms (configurable using Dante Controller).
- +6dB / -24dB input sensitivity and output gain control adjustment.
Connectivity
Network and audio connections are provided for Dante and optical S/PDIF.
