The Hertz ML2500.3 vehicle audio subwoofers have an unusually tiny size and are tailored to play in enclosures with reduced boxes thanks to a completely new design. This design combines two previously difficult to attain requirements: reference performance and ease of installation. Low undistorted frequencies without dynamic compression can evoke strong emotions in music enthusiasts who attend live concerts. As a result, the Hertz Audio Video R&D department developed the ML 2500.3 Legend vehicle audio subwoofer. The designers set themselves one ambitious goal during the extended development phase: to translate the emotions of a live concert to the automobile environment.

The highly innovative V-cone® in the Hertz ML 2500.3 maintains its shape even at high volume levels, reducing distortion. The cone's pressed pulp is mixed with mineral powders for added firmness, and the rubber rim keeps things in check. The aluminum alloy frame of the sub is meant to reduce resonance, resulting in rich, clean bass while managing massive quantities of power.
Plenty of power handling
The ML 2500.3 produces enough low end to please even the most demanding listener, with a continuous power handling of 700 watts (1400 watts peak).
