Hertz MM 15.1 Unlimited 15" Motor Group SPL Subwoofer
The MM15.1 UNLIMITED automotive audio subwoofer was created specifically for SPL competitions. To get the best performance on each specific race circuit, the SPL Monster subwoofers provide you the option of selecting the most appropriate moving assembly for the entire system design resulting in maximum SPL in every competition. The MM15.1 UNLIMITED motor group has a length of 15 inches (380 mm). It has high magnetic permeability plates to ensure a consistent, even flux. Even when the excursion is very high, the large magnet gives flawless control and through the use of a specific epoxy glue, the basket and motor are joined and damped.
MM15.1 Features:
- High magnetic permeability plates provide constant, even flux
- Large double magnet; for perfect control under high power, very high excursion conditions for top SPL performance
- Internally reinforced basket, protected from abrasions with high resistance paint
- Basket and motor are coupled and damped through special epoxy glue
