iDatalink Maestro HRN-HRR-NI1 Plug and Play T-Harness for NI1 Nissan Vehicles with HU connectors
The Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module (available separately) can be installed more easily in certain Nissan automobiles by using the iDatalink meets Nissan iDatalink HRN-HRR-NI1 installation harness. The connectors in the box connect your new car stereo's serial port, your factory radio's wiring plugs, and the Maestro module. An in-line head-unit connector harness is included in this harness, and it may be plugged into their new "Head-unit direct" harnesses for specific radio brands. Simply cut off the plug and attach the wires to the harness that came with your new radio if you're installing a radio that doesn't function with a "Head-unit direct" connection.
HRN-HRR-NI1 Highlights:
- enables certain Nissan automobiles to install a new receiver with an iDatalink port (also requires the Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module).
- keeps the factory amp and audio controls on your steering wheel.
- preserves the rear-view camera and uses inputs from an aftermarket radio (iDatalink-ready car stereos also retain front, side, and 360 cameras).
- select Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, and Pioneer receivers show engine performance data on touchscreens.
hold onto factory features
With any aftermarket radio, the HRN-HRR-NI1 harness and interface module keeps the following features:
- controls on the steering wheel.
- the balance and fading controls on the OEM amplifier are used.
- depending on information from an aftermarket radio, the rear-view camera
The harness also provides the outputs (parking brake, reverse, and VSS [Vehicle Speed Sense]), illumination outputs, and auxiliary power outputs required for the installation of a navigation receiver.
Additional capabilities with an iDatalink-capable car audio
You'll keep your backup camera's parking lines (needs composite video rearview camera input), as well as the front, side, and 360-degree camera, if you purchase a car stereo that is compatible with iDatalink (requires second composite video camera input). On the screen of your receiver, you'll also be able to read and reset engine codes and display gauges and vehicle information.
Extra features with an iDatalink-compatible automobile audio system
If you buy a vehicle stereo that is compatible with iDatalink, you'll preserve your backup camera's parking lines (requires composite video rearview camera input), as well as the front, side, and 360-degree camera (requires second composite video camera input). You can read and reset engine codes as well as view gauges and vehicle data on the receiver's screen.
